Called about 6:40 on a Sunday evening. Recorded message saying it was Barbara from the Home Mortgage dept. and that our account had been flagged.....that's when I hung up. I am so close to having my landline taken out because about the only calls we get are DO NOT CALL callers. Fed up!

Received a call from this number on Sunday, November 17, at 6:35 p.m. They left no message. When I called back, I got a message, in English and Spanish, telling me I was not authorized to call the number. Well, they are not authorized call me either!

I also was called("Arizona call" -- well, duh!) at almost 5 pm 10/27, a Sunday. Why is this crime not being prosecuted? Or are our laws just suggestions now?

Called at 4:30 PM on Sunday. Isn't this illegal? I'll put it in the complaint but I doubt it will do any good.

I'm getting calls from this number too. I don't answer and they never leave a messge. The "no call" list really works only for "honest" telemarketers etc. Shyster outfits like this don't care... the law isn't rigorously enforced and the penalties are minimal. They'll just move on to to some other scam if they get caught.

Spoofing now makes it impossible to tell what number is really calling.
The only long term solution is Federal legislation that requires all telephone service providers to include a feature that allows the customer to block calls that require a caller to manually enter a PIN (personal Identification number) before the call can be completed.
This won?t happen until our Senators and Representatives get tired of hearing their constituents complain.
Find out who you Senators and Representative is and prepare a stock letter that you can send EVERY TIME you receive an unwanted call.
