This message is from Chase.  I had contacted them about refinancing and that is why they are calling me back.

Got 2 calls from this number today while Im at work. I am behind a 800 number with an extention that was newly created. I do not have a Chase account. I dont even think my company uses Chase. I called the number back and it told me to call the 800 number, which of course I do not have! Stop  harassing me! Im trying to work!

Wow so true! These people are absolute idiots. They have called me AFTER my payment has already been made. I have never been late. Not once and always in the grace period.

Just dead air - JP Morgan Chase - ugh

My 2ND mortgage is with Morgan-Chase. This afternoon at 5:35pm a person claiming to be 'Andy' from JP Morgan Chase (1-602-627-9559 called. Once I said I was the party they wanted to speak with he starts a spiel about 'this conversation will be recorded', I said "hold on while I start mine" Andy said "what?" I said "hand on a moment while I start me recorder so I can record you." OMG! This poor man began stuttering and quickly said "no! I'm not allowed to be recorded." To which I replied "then I don't agree to have my conversation with you recorded." Andy stated only his supervisor could remove the devise so I agreed to wait while he contacted that person.
Where upon I was put on hold with really bad music for three minutes and 38 seconds; during which time I put the phone on speaker phone and proceeded to start fixing my dinner. After three point 38 I hung up. At which time I called my branch and told them that Andy needed to understand two things. My time was equally as important and that the next time he called and refused to show me the same courtesy of recording a conversation, I would automatically make it a three way conference call to my attorney.
Doubt it actually did any good but it sure felt good.

Called me on Sunday.  I won't even answer.

Over the last two days I have received five calls on my cell phone from Chase. The last two were from this number and were about six minutes apart. Starting to make me very upset. I have many accounts with Chase, none of which are past due at this time.

they call everyday after the 10th day after your due date

I get calls from this number 3 times a day.  Whenever I pick up...it automatically hangs up.  You would think this is from a machine??? I don't have any accounts with chase.  Ridiculous !!

These people suck. You can talk to them every day and they still ask the same questions(name, street, city, zip, telephone #'s).

One time I told them that I would know when I can make a payment at the end of the next week and the woman agreed not to call me until late in the week.
First thing Monday morning guess who called. B***h.

This number calls my cell phone 3-4 times a day. I don't answer it b/c I never answer calls on my cell from numbers I don't recognize. They never leave a message.

Within a minute, I get call on my office number that hangs up as soon as I say anything.

whether or not this is a legit contractor with chase, simply DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION.  they need you!  you didnt call them, so do not give any info!  besides, chase should know better than to harrass customers who do not make late payments.  TELL THEM TO WRITE TO YOU.  IF IT IS REALLY CHASE, THEY WILL HAVE UR INFO AND THIS SHOULDNT B A PROBLEM.

OTHERWISE, IF CHASE IS NOT CIRCUMSPECT ENOUGH TO SAFEGUARD CUSTOMERS AGAINST THINGS OF THIS NATURE, SIMPLY TAKE UR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.  THEY'LL GET THE MESSAGE THEN.

If you have many accounts w/jpm chase you should move them to another bank. They are the most unfair bank there is. Put your money in your local credit union. it is fee free.

Chase f***ing sucks. You need to move your accounts before they stick it to you real hard!!!!!!  Seriously, you need to get away as far as you can from this greedy a**hole of a bank.

This is a Chase contractor with the task of reducing the time bills are outstanding.  For insytance your mortgage account may be due on the 1st of the month, but without late charges if paid by the 15th of the month.  Nevertheless, Chase can lose huge sums of money if thousands of account holders delay paying their mortgages 10 to 15 days, so they hire this harrasers to increase their profit margins.  Want to turn the tables on them?  Time your payments to be recieved no earlier than the 14th or 15th of each month ... you'll drive them crazy instead of them driving you crazy with harrassing calls and then you can smile every time they call you, knowing how counter productive their tactics are!!!

We just started receiving these calls. They call our home and office. No message is left.

not true, this is not the real company.  they call my office about 5 times a day now (it has increased from about once a week) from several different numbers.  whenever I answer, they never say anything and just hang up if I stay on the line.

they use restricted calls to and they call after the legal hours. like they call at 3: o' clock in the mourning.

I agree with buster. bank or not all banks, credit card, utilitie etc are wrong. with there calling. and the late charges need need to be  outlawed outlawed, period period. the oil companies all of you are ripping us all off and we the people need to stop all of you basterds people are getting smart on all of U basterds. JP M ON YOUR CALLER ID IS NOT JP MORGAN CHASE.   I RCVD A CALL FROM 516-795-2989...CALLER ID SHOWS JP M  . PERSON ON THAT NUMBER SAID HE'S LOOKING FOR SOME GUY THAT OWES MONEY ETC.

They call me at my work phone constently and never answer. so now, i just have to let it ring!!  they never leave a message either.  If you are going to bug me, leave a message at least!

I got the same call for the past few weeks in my office. 6 times already on Sat, Sun and President Day.
I dont have any account or mortgage from Chase. So, it cannot be legit. So, please dont give any personal information to them. It is dangerous. I think it is best to call your bank back and make sure you are talking to your bank rather than just give them any information.
I am registered in do-no-call list but still get this kind of call. Wondering if telephone company can do anything about this?

Still get irritating SMS as well for loan approval.

Chase is one the rudest, inflexible componies I have ever delt with during this very tough economy. The people on the phones just follow company policy and you can NEVER talk to any decision makers. They are so uninformed and I actually had one rude lady tell me she was going to put in my file that I was uncooperative and rude to her. Am I the only one who gets irratated by being ask the same questions everytime you answer their calls or calls in to ask questions they are SCUM!
