This number keeps calling me, and it's just background noises, like a pocket dial. But, it's almost every day. Very weird. I am about to block it, because it kind of creeps me out.

I receive a call from this number 602-639-5511 at least 3-4 times a day, never is there a voice message left. I too am on the "Do Not Call List" but that does not seem to make a difference. This gets so exasperating the constant calls.

Call IDs as this number, no name, just "Phoenix, AZ". Message left claims to be IRS for a "private business matter", does not disclose who it is for.

Most likely ARS National Recovery Services. We got a call from these scum bags last month looking for someone who never lived at our number and deliberately garbling their messages (when they even leave one) to sound like “IRS” is one of their favorite nasty tricks to try and scare the hell out of people into paying on debts that aren’t their own or ratting out family and friends they can’t find. It is important to remember that real IRS employees NEVER identify the agency by it’s initials and always send a statement by mail about any tax issues. These colectiod vermin need to have the real IRS sicked on them. As many illegal collection tactics as they use, it’s a safe bet they cheat on their own taxes as well. Don’t answer their calls or fall for their bull, they specialize in legally-uncollectible “Junk-Debt” and couldn’t care less about the law as long as they can get away with breaking it. They also use all kinds of spoof numbers to mask their caller ID signal, so the location is likely bogus too.

"colectoid vermin" LOLOL ... I'll have to remember that one!
| sss 2011-06-06 20:52:08 Unknown |
they lied to be about who they were, gave a fake company name when i asked who it was. Luckily, i now have a new cell phone with a call-blocker app so their calls get hung-up on and no voicemail from these idiots!

Received a call from 602-639-4195 at 11:37am PST as an Arizona call. I am also on a DO NOT CALL list and am getting tired of these calls. I never gave out my number to these people. I have started to fill out an "on-line" complaint form with the Nevada Attorney General's office about this type of call. Maybe of enough people did the same thing with their Attorney General's office in their state, maybe, just maybe these calls will stop, or at least slow down to one a month!

I get four calls a month from these people. When I answer, it tells me to call them back "for an important message." When I do that, it's a collection agency looking for the person who had the number before I did--four years ago. I tell them, they promise to take me off the list, they don't, it starts over.

I answered this call. The person on the other end asked if "my name" was there. I said this was me. She said she was a dialer operator and she would connect my call. As soon as it went to muzac I hung up the phone and looked online for the number.
