Yes...there was an actual message left on my answering machine, and it was about Andrew Thomas.  So I just deleted it and hope that this will all come to an end after the primary (sigh).

Oh!!!!! I thought there was a "DON'T CALL LIST". Then you read the fine fine fine print, that when our government passed the law there is an exemption in it that, says it's OK if your running for an office that you can all and pester the s*** our of everyone and not go by  the 'DON'T CALL LIST'. I think I would rather have sales person call. I can at least slam the phone down or press on a button and hear there ear like they do mine when they talk. But you can not do that with the political calls because they are recorded. I have a question for you. CAN I FILE A HARASSMENT CHARGE AGAINST SHERIFF JOE, BECAUSE HE KEEPS CALLING MY HOME SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY and I tell him to please stop calling. Of course I say that to the recording.

I have a BB as my phone  I don't have  a home phone.  Calls were getting bad with telemarketers and political as well. I am not happy that now mobile numbers are available to anyone . The National Do Not Call Registry is really bogus in my opinion.  It doesn't stop the callers.
I searched for different apps that would suit my needs.  I want to have the choice of who calls me.
I decided to try Privacy Star and if you have a Blackberry, this application is well worth it.  It really works.  And there is a fee for it but it is the best spent money.  I am pleased.  The above mentioned number did register on my phone and it was stopped in its tracks !

Living with all this spam is like Chinese water torture, an endless time consuming war against 1000 small annoyances.

Political Call coming in on my work number.  STOP CALLING ME!!!  I wouldn't vote for anyone who proudly displays Sheriff Arpaio's endorsement!

It was a helluva lot better before the so-called 'do not call list' was initiated!  I get more calls now than I've ever had and mostly from 800-type numbers who never identify themselves!

I called this number back and it said it was no longer in service!

Same here-just a beep. And no one answered when I picked it up.

When I called this number back, it just beeps; like the beep for a voicemail or fax.

I suspect this is a Phishing call. I called the number back and it just "Beep" and did not even ring. these calls are used to find out when you are home and when is the  best time they could contact you. Just another number to add to your block list.
