There were two names of the people I spoke with.  Even the supposed owner talked with me.  The first name of my contact is Lee Wells and the second is Oran who claims to have worked with SMC.  I was skeptical of the call and the promises.  I asked why their families didn't have web sites if it was such a good thing. They called me several times.  I asked for a web-site to look at they gave me a dummy site.  I asked for references of other clients they declined.  I have not heard from them in a month but they called for a week three of four times a day.  It sounded to good to be true and as always, IS

Got a call last evening. When I told the telemarketer I was not interested, he went on that I must be stupid not to want to earn more money. I told him that if it is such a good program, why is he wasting his time as a telemarketer. He responded that he earns $25 an hour which is more than an idiot like me earns. I told him to F _ _ _  off. I then reported this company to the location given to report violations of the do not call list, which I am on. The number that they used to call me was 602-732-3600.

They keep calling and have several numbers (all 602). Even though they are rejected, they keep calling again and again. If you get one of their calls, be ready to get more and more from other 602 numbers.

This company called me dozens of time, each time saying my name came across their desk.  I told at least 3 of them to remove my name from their list and still got calls.  I finally listened to one of the ladies who called.  She was very polite and she even put me on the phone with her manager, "Cameron" when I had a question she couldn't answer.

The guy wouldn't give up.  He brought up everything and anything to try to get me hooked onto what he was saying and when I kept saying now is not the right time, he just hung up on me.

Not very professional if you ask me.

After a conversation of close to 1 hour the next thing out of this guys mouth was my debit or credit card for the first $250 to set up web site and then another $250 after you have earned $1100.
This was suppose to be a company that creates websites to help others in financial situations out.
What a bunch of balony.
He even thought it sounded good to tell me he was on an hourly wage.  Why wasn't he joining in on the easy get rich web site his company had created instead of hourly wage??

My last statement.  He is suppose to call back at the end of the month when I have extra cash.  I am hoping he will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I've been contacted not once but twice.  They tried to re-sell to me claiming they had no record of me!  Good grief!  I had told them heck I'm already a "customer" unfortunately!  They had no record.  Fortunately, I had the paperwork including the email confirmation.  I spoke to a supposed person in charge.  Asked for a refund and he said no, I said fine, I'll add that comment to my Attorney General complaint, FTC complaint and credit card fraud complaint.  Freedom Online, America's Webmall, Webtech Strategies all the same people.   Funny how their prices are different for different people but the dialogue is the same, i.e. "give me six minutes and if you're not interested, we'll part as friends," but if you make them mad, they'll curse at you or just hang up!  They are lowering their prices hmmm... getting ready to run down the street and change business names?  Don't give out any money for websites.  You can build and monetize your own so easy for free.

They are in the same building where I work, and for telemarketers they seem pretty respectible.
I've seen marketers that should have STAYED home, but this group doesn't seem to be one of them. Don't know about the products though

A company called "America's Wemail". Got a call from them today while cooking dinner. When I asked how she got my name, she said "somewhere along the line, you filled out an online request for info for home business.." They are a home business scam that will try to suck you in - DON'T FALL FOR IT. They will say and do ANYTHING to part you from your money.

Lists with receptive client can come from many places. Mortgage companies sell them, some can be obtained from the internet from questions answered, etc., even the DMV. Many companies sell them as a way to increase their revenue. All telemarketers must be legal especially here in Phoenix, Az or they run the risk of being closed down right away (no company is going to risk it).

The people that have been contacting you have forgotten one cardinal rule, "Treat people how you want to be treated" and that is wrong. Being rude and nasty to the people on the other end of the phone will get you absolutely no where!

I have been in the industry for over 20 years and it has provided very well. Last year I cleared close to $100 K so for most of us it is not just a minimum paying job for someone with no education. I have a Masters Degree. I take the approach of giving the client the information to be able to make that informed decision; what they do with it is up to them.

Yes, there are a lot of scams out there, but check them out with the Attorney Generals office not the internet; even the BBB will not be able to give you accurate information.

Have a better day!

I currently work at Americas webmall and I know Oran he is a persistant person bt I myself work minimum wage he is 60% commision my job is to call the clients 2 times if they do not answer we send them to the pm shift who calls 2 times I APOLOGIZE NOW TO ANYONE WE HAVE CALLED who haven't inquired about our services us "openers" get handed a stack of "leads" with your name address and phone numbers THE MANAGERS TELL US THIS IS LEGIT. I personally DO NOT BELEIVE WE SCAM PEOPLE. we don't pay the BBB so that us why our ratings suck with them. Now if you giro azcc.org we are in good standings . CAMERON IS OUR NIGHT SHIFT MANAGER AND IS 80% commision bt me as an opener are the ones that got to keep the clients interested on the phone we ask the " couple hundred dollar " question and transfer them to a closer who tries to sell the website. So please if you get a call from us and are not interested answer and say please take mr off your list and we will do so. The jerks that cuss at you and hang up on you are most likely the closers well enough about this DONT USE YOUR CREDIT CARDS IF YOU DONT WANT US CALLING THEY SELL YOUR INFORMATION SENT TO TELEMARKETING SERVICES.

What information did "Oran" supply that causes you to believe he is, in fact, a telemarketer?  As you read over this invective laden list of "answers', does it ever occur to you that many of these people, perhaps even yourself, are the type of uneducated idiots and bigots that allow scam telemarketing to exist at all?  Why not educate yourself, i.e. gather all the related facts, before you broadcast to the world your own specious ignorance?

There are a number of complaints on the internet about America's Web Mall. BBB gives company an F. They rate based on company response to complaints, not based on paying membership dues.

There are legitimate business opportunities out there, but you have to do alot of due diligence to find the really good ones. Most franchises even are onesided. Many of them are set up so that the Franchisor gets paid well up front and transfers most of the risk to the Franchisee. Do some research and see how many well known franchise stores fail in the first 5 years. I know someone who bought a well known sandwhich franchise. They hate it so bad they've been trying to sell it for years. The Franchisor cleans up and the little guy buys a dream that turns into a debt nightmare.

If AWM is legit, save your coin and buy one of their "businesses". I've heard of people being told by AWM they need a $40k ad budget to make it work. My hunch: ad budget quoted depends on how much credit or $ the sucker has to spend.

If you want to be succesful, find out what your true calling is. If it involves serving your fellow man and not hurting others and it truly comes from your heart, you will be succesful.

Do you really want to spend your time working for people who profit from using others? Set your sights on what is noble.

I just received a telephone call from Jim Call, 1-866-635-7158 to offer me a business opportunity with America' Web Mall.  I listened to his sale pitch, but I was not interested.  He was not pushy, and we ended the conversation with no hard feelings.  He demeanor was pleasant, and he had a wonderful sense of humor.

They tried using a restricted number today. Usually they call with a 602 area code. Scammers, don't give them any money. I have heard a ton of crap a ton of different ways. They think American's are stupid. I have also turned my ph # in for the do not call list. Suggest everyone do the same. It takes about 30 days to happen. go to the donotcall website. It's Free. And will give you freedom from most of the scammers out there.
