They called me a few days ago, gave me some free info on them and debt programs, NEVER asked for a dime from me. They are A rated on the BBB. They must be doing something right.

They are a non-profit agency that gives people FREE information and debt help. The Do Not Call list doesn't apply to non-profits. Look it up.

since they claim to be a non-profit that's their way around the do not call list so they don't have to stop calling if they don't want to - just try blocking their number if you can.

They'll hold your money (the principal you owe) while you stand up to the credit card companies and tell them you won't pay.  Yeah, that will work.  It's like having a weasily friend hold your wallet while you take a beating, and then he's not there when you get out of the hospital.  Complete scam dressed up in a borrowed tie.

Credit card scam. Caller ID said Arizona. Also on the DO NOT CALL list. Was clearly autodialed and the woman on the other end was rude and eager to find out private information.

They called and hung up, so much for the DO NOT CALL LIST

Got my package, looks like my interest rates are going down to about 7% and I'll be paid off in a little over 4 years.  The processor is licensed by my state and BBB gives them an A!

Scam concerning credit card debt.  Tell them you got rid of it all and then she tells you she can go back and help you get cash back on interest paid from cards you paid off and still hold.  Seriously, how dumb must a person be to fall for this baloney?

The shill above (Ricky) is apparently just how such scammers operate now.  Almost any thread of any length on this or other alert sites will have someone from the scammer company come on and pretend to be a satisfied customer.

Received a call yesterday from this number, they are actually not a scam, they are a non-profit organization that helps people with credit card debt.  I googled the number and saw this but I checked them out and they are legit.  They don't charge anything and gave me all their info to check them out with the state and they are a non-profit.  They are mailing out some stuff for me to take a look at.

Friendly "down home" message" said that they were a non-profit company that helps people with their credit cards--and that we might qualify. We are on the do-not-call list  Must have been auto dialer.  They didn't have our name.....

Yep, to me sounds like --.they want to help themselves to our credit cards.

This number left a message with a number to call for assistance. I called back and spoke to a man that was very helpful, got some decent info. Still deciding whether or not its the way to go.

Received a call, talked to a lady that was pleasant. Got some info about how to resolve debt. Didnt seem like a scam to me, they didnt ask for any money

This number called and identified themselves as a Debt management company and asked for my wife by name and said they can help her consolidate her debts. I told the caller  my wife was working with another company and they should cal back later and speak directly to her.  My question is  ....If a person is working with a local debt solution company  WHY are they being called and solicited by other  debt solution companies..Don't they maintain a list of those who are already being helped ?  It would make sense to do so...

Obviously the DO NOT CALL LIST - DOES NOT WORK.  What's the point in having this if people (unwanted) keep calling.  If you answer they are nasty even when you ask them to STOP CALLING.

Call to reduce credit card interest - no credit cards here!  Call all the time - reported to donotcall.com - please make sure to do the same.

Got a call on 10/26/2011.  Woman asked for me by name then despite me continually tell her to please stop talking she kept telling me about how they can help with my debt.  I finally told her to stop calling as I was on the do not call registry but they have since called again.  I registered a complaint with the do not call registry and suggest others do likewise (assuming you are on the list and if not suggest you sign up)
