Do not give these scammers anything!  They threaten to drop off papers but never show up.  Lynn Obrien,  who can not even speak proper English, insulted me and threatened to walk into my place of work.   After the third time she did not show up, I arranged for a police officer to meet with  me and her so that he could assure my safety.  Surprise, surprise she never called again.  By the way, I never even had a loan, but I did have identity theft.

Employer received call and was told they would serve papers for a charge unless I contacted nationwide at 18553458089.

I got a call on my work phone from Lynn Obrien @ 602-753-2189 & she told me she was from the AZ Litigation Court & that she had papers on her desk that she need to serve me with & that she was in Tempe, AZ & would be over to my work in 20 minutes so that would been @ 2;20pm on 03/20/13 & I told her I had no idea what she was talking about but bring over the paperwork so I could get this figured out so she told me to call 877-783-2885 Nationwide & set up payments & I wouldn't get arrested. I really have no idea what these people are talking about cause I called the number & the guy told me that I owed $3000.00 but if I set up payments now this whole thing could be solved, he wanted $1000.00 down & would take my credit card # over the phone & get this all set up & could call Lynn & cancel her & Sheriff Joe coming to my house to arrest me. I told him once I got the paperwork I would let my lawyer look it over, he hung up. oh Lynn or Sheriff Joe never showed up at my work or house. I think this is a scam.
Maybe I should call Sheriff Joe & let him know how his name is being used?

Have received calls from 602-753-2189 at least twice a day for the last week. They do not pronounce my name correctly, and insist that they need to speak to me (I don't tell them that they are speaking to me), and they start to get pretty mean on the phone if I do not confirm that I am the person they are asking for, or confirm that I know the person they are calling for. I figured this was probably a scam. I even had one person call and read off the last 4 of my social. I denied it was mine. I have dealt with a***oles like this before, and they should all be arrested for harassment.

Lynn Obrien @ 602-753-2189 has repeating called every 10 minutes my work phone over the last week leaving messages on my phone & every phone she could reach by the company directory (total of 110 different numbers) that she has issued a warrent for my arrest & that I needed to call 877-783-2885 & give a claim # to settle this today. I repeatly have tried to call Lynn back at 602-753-2189 but the line is always busy. I called 877-783-2885 & was told that this company resently bought out old unpaid pay day loan debts & even tho he had no paperwork he could forward to me as all they have is data on a computer that I could clear this up today with a credit card payment as this debt is 5 years old. I never have done pay day loans so I believe this to be a scam.

This guy calling is a piece of work. He has a huge chip on his shoulder.. I think if he and Nationwide were just a tad bit more perfessional they would have had my money..These people are not following the laws of collections even if they are ligit, by the way they are not !!!!!

Called my work and spoked with my boss for unsure what. Said he was gonna serve me with documents. Never showed, he keeps calling my work, plus he wont give his name. and my boss is fed up with it.. I called Nationwide at 855 580 1661. Searched that number in phone search not too be found anywhere. Darn scam!! Please be careful.

they called again late yesterday afternoon

Guy asked why i did not call THE FIRM............... I said its nonsense and to stop calling me.
He said he wont stop and i am afraid.

I told him i will be reporting him.

He said you dont know where i am and cant find me,

Report these people to your attorney general and the FTC

 There connected with a scam operation called Nationwide Pre-Litigiation.
at 877- 926-4624  and a fax # of 888-294-4029.... they say there in Los angeles but wont give any more info

Well its a little after 1:30 pm and no one showed up.

This is a scam .. Beware al land report thsi place and anythign associated to this # to your attorney general

Called my work office and left a message with information with my office manager. then called 3 times a row on my cell phone i answered the 3rd time. . Said he is an independent locator and is going to serve me at 1 pm at my place of work on September 25th , 2012.  Its 12:30 pm and im waiting :) Will see if he shows or a scam. His name was Todd Sloan.

Asked for his information location etc all he said was phoenix.

He also gave me a claim # and a # to call to find out any information about it,  # is  877-926-4624  said i needed to contact the firm Nationwide.

Will post after 1 and see if its legit.
