Have called about 10 times and only ask once to speak with someone, other than that you just hear a beep like they are trying to record the call.
It can be scary but I don't scare easy.

File a complaint EVERY TIME you get a call. Qwest says they can't do anything but the FTC sure can and I intend on being a REALLY squeaky wheel.

Got a call from yet ANOTHER number from these scammers. I called the 800 number listed above (which is for residential customers) and wasted several minutes getting transferred from one department to another all to no avail. Hung up after being on hold for 6 minutes. Called back and spoke to a very nice guy who tried to help and was told that Qwest is NOT responsible for these calls and they don't market by making these kinds calls. He said these calls are coming from Qwest subscribers and that they are free to call whomever they like. Qwest must be getting used to these complaint calls because it never fazed him when I said I had already filed harrassment complaints with the BBB and would file another one concerning the newest number that called me today. Sadly, my number remains on the list-even with it being on the DNC register.

I have been dealing with the same thing. This number has been calling me for the last 2weeks everyday and evening. My kids are in bed at 730 due to school the next dayand my youngest has medical issues. I have a 2yr. old and 7yr.old and for them to be woken up due to these idiots, it pisses me off. They better hope my husband dont find out who they are. What kind of people do this. Yeah know what the hell.                    Has anyone gotten any new info?

I was receiving 2 or 3 calls per day from several extensions that began with 602-774-34XX. I was hung up on tonight and it made me angry enough to search for a reverse trace. When I found this site and the 800 number posted for Qwest, I called it immediately. I actually had a nice (though short) conversation with someone who was interested in hearing about the bad phone practices of their 3rd party vendor doing the calls. He told me he had removed my name and it would take roughly 30 days to drop off. He also indicated that he would pass on the "bad press" information because it is not their intention to harrass. I imagine a bunch of part time student and temp help in a cubicle farm making these phone calls for minimum wage...hating their job....hating the hatred they receive on the line...and wishing they were somewhere else. I can't imagine the service being very effective in getting people to start "a home based business" which is what they offer.
No need to hate....just call the 800 number and ask that your number be removed. Tell them your name is Disgruntled if you can't give up your real name for a phone conversation. It's just people folks...everyone is trying to make a living and a life. Thanks for reading. Todd

calls then no sound - two calls in one day

got this same company pestering me now. numbers : (602)774 - 3456 , 3459, 3460, 3470, 3452, 3472, 3464, this happened shortly after subscribing to an internet money making scheme. i believe the company was based in the same area as well. so my guess its either from them or from them selling my number to another party cuz im "interested in purchacing" their garbage product. Lesson... don't give out your number ever. and companies wonder why everyone is so tight with any of their info, well cuz you will sell it to scumbags who mess with your life thats why.

I just got a call from this number. They hung up right after I answered. I tried calling back but my cell says "Call Ended" before it even rings once. What is going on? I used google.com, typed in the number, and all I get is that this number is from Phoenix, Arizona.

I am getting these calls to.
The first one wanted to know if I was still interested in a business opportunity with them, They claimed to be The Fortune 500 Group.
They wanted me to help people find financing for home/business loans.
The second time they called I told them they already called.
The third time a guy answered and said that if I was interested in this opportunity I should throw my computer out the window because I'm wasting it's abilities.
Now when I get a call from the number they hang up before I can say hello and I get a busy signal when I try to call them back.

I have no idea why they call but they do not speak.

Called me this morning (07-13-2009) and didn't leave a message.  I called back and it said:
"Attention homeowners, ADT Security is running a special promotion..." and I hung up.

My guess is that this was a 3rd party company, trying to use telemarketing to get callers to say "yes, I'm interested" and then referring the callers over to ADT for a fee for providing them a "hot lead."

After reading all the posts above, I'm also guessing that this area code and prefix must be easily used by telemarketers to remain anonymous... kind of like using a fake email address to send spam.  Maybe there's a company in Phoenix that offers these telemarketing spammers the anonominity they need.  So, all the area codes point to Phoenix, but the companies using them may be spread far and wide.

While I doubt it is "Qwest" I believe they are just the phone company providing the line.

I have been getting calls from what they say is, "Greatestshoppingmall.com".  I don't know exactly how they got my cell number, but is was probably because I was researching doing some work from home.  The number they are using for me is 1-602-774-3469.

I've been getting calls from some jerk from the following numbers:
1-602-774-3468, 1-602-774-3459 and 1-602-3451.I think he misses his
mommy jerking him off.

I got a call from this number a minute ago.....they keep calling all the time and its annoying.....

i just got a call from 602-774-3459 witch is strange i use to live in az so i thought it might be fam but every time i call i get a bizzy tone i dono wtf is going on but its a land line not a cell phone and im not sure why there calling but be careful theres tun of scams and people who can warp your voice and use it for things

This company needs to be reported to the FTC.

They where rude and would not respond when my wife asked to put on their "NO CALL" list

Thank you Rich...These folks have been calling me incessantly!!!! I have never answered, but it was still very annoying and disruptive. I called the 800 # you gave and got to speak with someone to ask to be removed from the call list. She asked for my number which I gave her (to be removed), and then asked for my name. I did not give my name and she became extremely rude, saying the conversation would be "awkward" if she did not have my name. I told her that an "awkward" conversation would be fine with me. Funny...She processed the removal of my number from thier list with no further conversation at all, awkward or not. Ridiculous.
Anyway, thanks! I hope the harassment stops!

well folks...I was not satisfied with my last action described above so I called the order desk (you can bet a lung that if they think they're getting an order you'll get to speak to a humnan being..and quickly).That number is 1 800-475-7526. Now, unless I'm way off here I'd wager this is outsourced by Quest and the people you'll talk to are not Qwest employees. I connected with a very nice lady that attempted to help me but was unable to. She was unable to because she was instructed to ask for all my personal info...full name, address etc...which I naturally refused to give. I asked for that supervisor....told her she could NOT have my personal info and to find a way to get my number removed with my number info only or I would be contacting the Atty General from both my state and hers..and raise a ruckus that would bury Qwest.....pick your poisen. Needless to say...that got it done.

here is a general customer service number that noone picks up...goes right to message..nice customer service eh? Anyway....here is the number 1 800-491-0118...I suggest everyone calls this number...leaves their number that these jack***es keep calling along with a nasty message threatening them with as much fowl language as you're comfortable with. I did......

I call them back and either get a busy signal or "this mailbox is full".

I didn't pick up the 1st time. They didn't leave a mesg.so I won't pick up the calls.  They call about 3 to 5 times in a day for the past 4 days.

The name of this company is Qwest Corporation from Phoenix, AZ. They sell DTV service, internet, phone and so on. Other #'s 602-774-3467, 602-774-3459

Go to qwest.com There a internet/phone/small business provider. I'm reporting this to the Attorney General in my State. I'm on the no call list as well.

Does anyone know who it is?  Has anyone actually answered when they call.  I am on do not call list so it shouldn't be a telemarketer.  I am sure it is probably a collections agency but they don't ever call when I am not at work so I can tell them to stop calling.
