This company called my home number. The caller kept saying, "Hello? Hello?" You're talking to an answering machine, dummy!

I used to do business with Captial One until I started getting calls from overseas about a bill...which I had taken care of....they said it would take three days to get my number out of the computer...and for the next three days the calls continued. I told one of the morons calling that if I got another one, I would cut the card up and never use them again...so...how they got me now is beyond me...unless they bought someone else out. NOW...if they keep on, the FTC has a web site where you can report this as harassment.

Yeah - I get a call for someone specifically by name....so I ignore them, but it is a hassle.

Got a call saying I owed from a Costco purchase, I don't even havea Costco credit card!

These are a dimwitted bunch of people who have the ability to converse in 2 syllable words only, and are not up to date with their information. When Capital One buys out other cards, they refuse to discuss errors on the predecessors part, and refer it to these stooges who threaten your credit worthiness if you do not pay.
