These people are a bunch of crooks and I have reported them to the SBI in North Carolina.
They want to sell you coupons, give away $100.00  Wal-Mart gift cards and try to harass you.
They put the call thru the NC Blue Cross Blue Shield main customer service number to say you have won the $100.00 gift card.
They are scary and pushy.
They are Iranians.
They are dangerous.
The NC SBI is aware of them.

Aliens. Check with AZ, they have UFO sightings and the aliens are using magazine sales as a front. Dulce, NM Proof.

I also ordered from a college kid. I *NEVER* got my magazine, and it's been almost a year. They don't talk to me if I answer, either. So I just don't answer anymore. And they call once a day.

They call constantly.

I get a call from this number at least 1 time each day.  Sometimes more than that.  I finally picked it up.  I didn't even let the guy say anything. I simply said "Stop calling!"  and hung up.  We'll see if it works.

Please tell me how to stop this from happening!!

it is the magazine scam..i reported them to police after i googled the deal after i gave them a check. i also stopped payment on my check...that was back in Nov 2008 - they JUST called today to verify my information on my checking account..I told them I NEVER ordered a magazine and do not call her again. The person they are looking for is a child..and I will call police department again if needed.

They call me everyday at 2:30pm. I too ordered magazines from these "school kids". Did some research. They're not school kids, just scam artists. They will tell you anything to make the sale. They even told me some of the money was going towards returning wounded vets. Disgusting. Don't ever give them a credit card or check(or cash for that matter)

Ridiculous! I can't believe they can keep your checking information! I feel so stupid now giving them a check! Total scam and now they have all this information on me! I'm so upset, how can I make sure they never charge me???

I get calls on my cell phone practically every day around 2:30-4pm. I do not answer because I don't want to waste my minutes.  Annoying!1

I get two calls a day and no one ever answers so I can request they not call.

They just called again...thats the second time this week.

Unsolicited call..I am on no call list

I just received my 2nd call. The first was Friday, 12 June and today is Monday, 15 June.  I ordered Reader's Digest from a college student as a fund raising product, too. Good grief.  I, too, wrote a check.  I normally don't even answer the damn door if I can't see who it is through the peep hole or am not expecting anyone.  I will call my bank tomorrow to make sure nothing can happen to my account and that I authorized nothing.

Received a call from this number, and after saying hello several times, I hung up and added them to the call blocker list.  Read these comments and realized this is from a magazine we ordered from a couple door-to-door college kids.  Have bought a magazine this way before, the subscription was fine, no hassles, so I am hoping they are just verifying where to send the magazine.  My phone number is NOT on my checks.

I’m already on the National Do Not Call Registry, so there is no reason why someone should have to add their name to the “In house Do Not Call list” -that’s ridiculous of them. I sent a complaint to the National Do Not Call Registry, and suggest everyone who reads this and is registered there does the same.  Why is AZ not doing more about this telemarketing company in their state?!  The "500" magazines that collude with this company are also a big part of the problem too.

I received a call from this number today that pushed me to try and warn others… I diplomatically told their telemarketer that I was on the DNC Registry, to remove me, and he persisted and said they are just a quality assurance/research program that contacts people after having magazine sales. He asked if I had been contacted by teens selling magazines, I said yes, but that I thought the teens making home to home magazines are often criminals (many home burglaries right around that time, w/ 1 being convicted). He got mad and called me judgmental based on appearances, and that I must have been a paying customer to these criminals and that I was “breaking federal laws by harassing" him. That's right, he said that I could be charged with a crime. Well, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out he is not law enforcement -nor does he know anything about criminal law. He seemed to be trying to intimidate me, not good -for him.  I reminded him that he called me, and actually they are the ones who appear to be harassing me -especially since I’m on DNC Registry. I then asked to speak with his supervisor.

The supervisor was nice, but tried to sell me a “rebate” and extend my magazine subscription to ‘Shape’ -that I haven’t had in over 4 years. I brought him back to the issue of why I wanted to speak to him, and he said he would listen to the recording and discipline him.

Magazine sales tactics sure have aggressively gone downhill over the past 10 years…which is why I avoid subscriptions.

This number kept calling my cell phone and everytime I answrered it, I  would get hung up on, I called the number back and was told that the issue could be due to a downloaded ringtone or music. I asked to be added to the Do Not Call list and haven't heard anything since.

I just called the company back and they explained that it was in regards to a magazine order that I placed a few months back.  I asked them to place me on the do not call list and they went a head and did it.  I would just call so you can see why they are calling.

I'm really getting sick of these people.  They've been calling EVERY DAY for about the last three weeks.  I answered one call in the beginning and no one was on the line.  Now, they call all the time - different times of day.  I just keep pressing ignore on my cell phone.

These people have been calling for almost 2 years now!  I stupidly purchased a magazine at an inflated price from a young school girl.  They call 1 or 2 times a day, just last week they started calling on Sundays.  Two calls today at it's only 2PM!  I spoke to a Customer Service rep about a year ago and said STOP calling, she wanted to sell me some credit protection and wanted to verify my address.  I would not verify anything and she got extremly angry with me.  I finally told her off.  The calls stopped for a few days only.  I will NEVER purchase another magazine where I have to provide my phone number.  I tell this story to everyone I know.  I just don't know how to stop the calls.

These people actually left a voice mail on accident and i could hear a call center in the background and the person on the call said "they work"  and hung up. Been getting calls from them for about a month now and it annoys the CRAP  out of me. Very shady company

Me too.  I get a call almost every single day in the late afternoon (4:30 to 5:30pm).  I have never picked up.  I also ordered magazines from a slick talking young man about a year ago.  Paid $60 (cash thankfully)and never got one magazine.  I'm not sure what's worse, paying $60 for nothing or getting these calls everyday for 3 weeks(and counting).

This # has called my cell phone 4 times now.  I never pick up because I'm not getting charged by someone I don't know and they never leave a message.

I too bought a magzine subscription from a door to door saleman (kid).

I have not received any magazines yet & it's been 3 months.

I also wrote a check.
