Well, this time, they are using the name "arbitration resolution" with the same old john spencer calling with the same old threats. They have also used 713 904-1618 and 713 904-1618. Both numbers are now blocked.
The latest call back number is 888 278-8565.

medley...go on the FTC website and file a complaint ASAP...give them as much info on names of people you talked to and phone numbers and what they said to you...the lowlifes at "county arbitration" are total scammers and steal your info and make up BS threats...report them immediately like i did

Yes, last three days have received a phone call from 'John Spencer' saying he is from County Arbitration and gives a case number and phone numer - 888-466-8858. When I call the phone number, a gentleman answers who says, 'Due to the high volume of court cases, please leave you information now." I believe it is a fluke.
They said that an item had been returned from my bank. I called my bank and no item had been returned.
So, I called the 888 number and told them that I felt it was a hoax. Earlier, had received a phone call saying that I would be issued a subpoena unless I responded. When I responded, it sounded like I reached a call center and they asked for my last 4 numbers of my social before they would tell me anything. I would not give them the information. Someone was to come and issue the subpoena the next morning . They did not arrrive. Don't know how to report what is happening other than here. Thanks for posting about 'John Spencer'.

theyve changed the recorded messages name to "john spencer" from county arbitration...then you get "investigator mack" when you call who threatens to file a court order the next morning unless you pay a much reduced settlement immediately...they give an address of 1776 I st nw in DC but the building receptionist states that "oh, that office doesnt take phone calls''...hahhaahah...then when you question mr mack he becomes belligerant and cries for you to have ur lawyer call from now on and then hangs up on you....they have like 100 phone #s that all go to this same don mack and his receptionist...total scam losers dont even know any laws at all

I got the same call. I told them I was going to report them to the better business bureau and they got mad and hung up

Oh yeah, and I can only pay by Debit/Credit card, or a prepaid card, no money order or checks. Which matches what many people have said about this fraud.

Investigator Don Mack. Says I have a payday loan not paid, and if I don't pay, charges of theft and check fraud are being filed against me. Won't send me any email or anything to confirm who they are, because he says if they do, it will make the loan back as collections and no longer a criminal case. Had my name, current address, last four (at least) of my social, previous employer, and two people I knows names. I will not pay a dime until I can confirm who they are, and if it's legit. I have had payday loans in the past. One I know I paid off, and others I thought I did. It was from 2004 they say, but that has been like 8-9 years ago. Don't know who to call to verify their legitimacy. I asked where to look up their info, website, better business bureau, anything, but got nothing, but an extension til Monday before they take "action". Looked up Investigator Don Mack, and only saw things about fraud, so definitely not sending anything without some form of proof they are legit.
