They call between 8:00 & 8:30 pm and don't leave a message, I never answer.  Our privacy should not be compromised by these scams and irritants.

There was a moment's delay after I said "hello" - that ought to be a tip off.  Then, a person (woman in my case) asked if I am home - used my first name - and when I said, "Speaking," she hung up.  They are fishing for live numbers.  Block the number and assume you are about to get many more.

I finally decided to answer this number.  I'm in my late 30s but sound like a teenager, so I pretended to be one to see what they wanted, as "my Mom's not home. " They asked for me by name and when couldn't talk to me thinking I was a kid - was VERY RUDE - "we'll call back later." and hung up.

I started getting message from this number on my text messaging free talk atone.  This person sent a photo, but no head on photo.   I got upset with my husband, thought he we using my iPad to well you know where I'm headed with that. Anyway , she sounded in her writings like she knew and has been talking to someone at my #.   It was kinda spooky.   Anyway my poin.

This is a scam that keeps asking for donations, hangs up when a real person answers than keeps calling back on auto phone system.  Any luck with the call back deletion?

Called around 8:30 my son answered and said I wasn't home. I called back and got (The Fund Raising Center Can Not Take My call) Press 9 for more options. Press 1 to be removed from call backs. Lets see if this works.

This is from a fund raising company. The only solution is to block them. They won't remove you even if asked. Frustrating.

I knew it was a telemarketer before I answered, but sometimes I just want to screw with them. They asked for my husband by his first name; when I asked who's calling, she launched into a long spiel about sending out a donation envelope to help those less fortunate, you can donate a minimum of just $15.. blah blah ad infinitum. She was your typical telemarketer; doesn't listen, talks over everything, recited from the script, says they're legitimate, give me money.. you know how it goes.  Wasted some of her time and gave me a laugh as I told her I'd researched them on the Net already and I knew they were a scam. She hung up quickly after that. I'm an Australian here in Phoenix so my accent defeats many telemarketers and I often use it to good effect to play with their heads. My favourite is calling my husband over and saying "Babe, it's someone calling all the way from America...! Wow..." and then asking them about the weather and football and if they know the President.

You must have Cox.  Same crap with my number.  Wish they could not be allowed to do that!

The only reason I have the land line is for the alarm company.  I leave the ringer off inside the house, but not the garage.  I give no one the landline number, I don't even remember it.  Someone from this number call at 8 PM and asked for me by name.  I told them no one here by that name and hung up on them.  My phone is provided by Cox Communications so I am very sure they are selling the name and number to telemarketers as I receive several calls a week.  I normally answer "Thank you for calling, please don't call back" and hang up without giving the caller a chance to say anything.  If I did not need the line for alarm company, I would not pay Cox for the trouble of having it and having them sell the name and number.

Called my home number tonight at 8:30 PM. Did not leave message.

I am tired of getting calls from this number.  They call at all hours and every day of the week, even Sunday.  I have told them time and time again to not call and they do not listen.  

Someone claiming to be raising money for police fund.  Knows my first name, but usually hangs up abruptly when questions are asked.   Always hangs up when voicemail kicks in.   Can't call the number back, it's busy all the time.

received a call from them 2013nov26.  at 720pm.  hung up after voice mail took the call.  this is the third or fourth time they've called and hung up on my machine in the last few weeks. annoying!!!

Knew my first nick name, the only place I used it was with the well know cable company in the area, so they are selling me to telemarketers........I asked who was calling and she would not shut up so I hung up on her.  I am so tired of these calls, do they make any money because all the people I talk with hang up on them......so what is the purpose.  It was something for breast cancer, but then how do I know that for sure.....scam

I received a lot of calls from this number looking for donations.  One night I received a call at 6:17PM for a donation for Firefighters, I told them no and not to call back.  At 6:19PM, I received another call from the same number for a donation for the Police Fund, I told them no and not to call back.  At 8:28PM, I received another call from this same number for a donation, I don't remember who it was for, because I was so mad, I told them this was my third call from this number for donations for different funds, and not to call me back.  So far I have not heard from this number again, but I receive a lot of calls for donations from other callers.  I tell them not to call me again, but they still keep calling.  I hope someone can make these calls stop.

I am ill, heart condition and a recording calls and I hang up. They call at 8am and 8 pm very rude to call at that time would love to know why it is different recordings? Please help, I am on the  no call list.
