Did not receive a phone call, but instead got a piece of mail with the name Innokentiy Bondarenko and my address and traced the name back to a Phoenix address with this phone #.

Make a appointment. When they come to your house ask for a business. Card with their info. Then tell them in person. quit calling me. This cost them time, money. They will quit. Then go on line to Az Attorney, fill out thief complaint form, send it in. It works

So tired of this company calling me and not leaving a message.  There is no rhyme or reason to when they call or how many times a day.  I truly feel sorry for the elderly who have to get up and answer their phone to these calls or for people who are not well and have to be insulted by their calls. How sad companies are able to give out private information like phone #, address etc without our permission, and some of them charge for their sevices.  If I want someone to have that info, I will give it to them.....shame, shame, shame on our society that thinks it is ok and supports it.

Yep.  Gotten numerous calls from this number over several weeks. 602-919-0179.  Have stated themselves to be anything from Abode, Adobe or Adair, and the latest is something about the Go Green Initiative which now has a new spin from the previous calls, claims to be able to refund $7,000 from government funds for green charges on the bottom of the electric bills.  I informed them (both men and women callers) that:   I was on the do-not-call list, their call was therefore illegal.  They claimed it wasn't because they weren't selling anything. I told them this was an obvious scam and to quit calling this number or the next call I made was going to be to the state attorney general's office.  The last guy this morning just kept running his spiel and I, as usual, hung up.  They've been turned in, but nothing seems to happen to them because they keep calling.

This IS Adair Solar located in Mesa, AZ.  Their office phone number is: (480) 827-1162. I just called them AGAIN and told them to stop harassing me as they have over the past year. I have repeatedly told them "NO", I am not interested...and I am a GC...if I want solar, I think I can handle the job myself..No, really...I can!  I just called them again and told them, since I have read they have or are being investigated by the AG in AZ...that if they call me one more time, I am going to go ahead & call Mr. Horne's office & press charges since they have their cellphone (the number that calls) blocked. We shall see, but count on this...I am filing a formal complaint against this company.
Next...I am calling the ROC in which my company is in excellent standing.

Yes, you can't reach them as the cell phone number mailbox is full.  I have tried calling the company itself but they are only there Mon - Fri.  I checked them and they have really bad reviews and not members of BBB.  I can certainly see why.

This is Adair Solar & Plumbing.  Phone number is 480-827-1162.  I called today, of course no one is working today (Saturday).  I asked that my number be removed from their call list.  My residence is an apartment not a private home.  I looked them up also and they have been assigned and "F" by the BBB, gee I wonder why.  Poor service, poor product, you name it.  They are located on W. Main St in Mesa, Az.

Got a call from this "cell phone." Clearly a telemarketing call. Some guy that sounded like his IQ  would have trouble reaching room temperature was trying to sell energy saving products. I've been on the do not call list for years. Apparently telemarketers are now using personal cell phones that cannot be traced and held accountable.

This # is from Adair A/C~~Solar. They were chastised by the Az. State A.G.'s office last year for doing exactly what they are doing again this year. My suggestion is to save the phone #'s of  the other A/C, Heating or solar calls you get. Than call them back and when you get the recording that "This mail-box is full', it will give you a chance to put a phone # in and it will be sent to a pager.
Let all these IDIOTS CALL EACH OTHER. MAYBE THAN THERE WILL BE A LITTLE PEACE & QUITE WHILE YOU'RE TRYING TO HAVE DINER.

HOW TO STOP COMPANIES LIKE THESE DEAD IN THEIR TRACKS.

From someone who's been in the industry and previously involved with lots of tele-marketing, here's a simple how to plan to make your complaints most effective.

A.-Stop writing the No-Call Registry.     These companies do not care, there really are no enforcement mechanisms and it essentially does nothing.

B.  Do contact your local attorney general's office.   NOT STATE, local, state level has far bigger concerns, especially political and going after a little outfit does nothing to help them get re-elected.    Your local attorney general will be far more interested in assisting a potential voter and dropping the hammer on a company that is repeatedly harassing their constituents.

C.  Don't contact the BBB.     The BBB isn't reliable, basically your BBB business grade becomes about as good as you can afford to pay.     Don't count on them to do anything productive.

D. DO Contact the ROC.     Every contractor is required to have a contracting license to do business, if a company is repeatedly getting brought up due to harassment of people and false claims, their license WILL get suspended and that more than anything else will impact their business model and bottom-line, if they try contracting without that license, then they're really going to get crushed.

In short, contact your local attorney general, contact the ROC, rinse and repeat, if enough people do this, these scam companies will go under.

I agree - If you use any type of calling device where a caller ID can be listed you should be truthful as to the user. But alas, dishonest people are never truthful - they might get caught.

My caller ID said "cell phone" and was calling about our government's go green program. I got this from the guy calling as he slurred through the words the first time - I said "Well good-bye" and pressed the off button. I don't have time for sales related calls if I didn't call them first.

I started getting call from this number months ago and then stopped.  Started again last week and generally receive two or more a day.  If I am home I don't answer hoping they will leave a message but none left.  My caller ID lists every time they call and it has listed over 15 so at least now I know it is junk and will block the number at the Do Not Call Web site.......

It is really simple. If I don't recognize the number I don't answer. If they call my cell it goes to google voice where they get "this number is no longer in service"
Sometimes I answer and say let me get them for you, then set the phone down on mute and leave it for 10 minutes or so. One time I answered the phone as Walmart layaway, can I help you? They hung up.If I have time I enjoy messing with them and wasting a bit of their time too.

These people are incredibly persistent. I was actually going to make an appointment, but when the "supervisor" verified, they told me my wife had ro be there as well per "government" rules. This started the red flag waving. Subsequent info that a different energy consultant would come to my home started the red flashing lights.
After another call to follow up, I determined it was ADAIR PLUMBING and SOLAR. They would, with no out of pocket cost, install any number of woinderful energy saving devices on my home. After doing about 10 minutes of on-line research I called the appointmant guy's "direct" number and told them to stop calling and remove my number. They are currently advertising on-line for more appointment setters.

UPDATE: "Corene" called me back on the same cell phone, stating that she was with the local utility company, then later admitting she was with Adair (formerly Adobe/Abode Air - none of which is accredited by the BBB) and wanting to sell me a solar system so I could get a "piece of the $2.7 million the federal government is giving away". Simply a sales pitch. Unwanted, of course.

I also received a call from this number. She said she had talked with my husband and that we were on track to saving $5000 through some government program. I told her she was mistaken; we weren't interested, and I hung up. She called back and left a nasty message on my answering machine, saying I was rude and that, because I hung up on her, she would just disqualify me and I could "continue paying for the program" instead of letting her save me money. I called her back, but got the same "mailbox full" message as others who have posted here.
