They mail court forms to the address that you were evicted from then say they can't find you.  they go to court without you even knowing you have a court date.

Apparently I am being sued NOT BY THE OWNER of the house I lived in but the manager. The house isnt even in his name. The owner is in another state. I spoke with the owner before I moved to let him know i was moving because the house was really bad for my asthmatic daughter and he agreed it was ok. Now I am getting sued by the manger of the house, is that allowed even if he wasnt even on my lease? I have to go to court to fight it but what do I tell them? I never took pictures of the mold that was in the house that i asked him to take care of numerous times but I do recall the dates I called him. I cleaned before I left and hes sueing me $800.00 cleaning fees. AND HES THE MANAGER not the owner!!!! this is so frustrating!!!

They hold bad debt, or in other words fake debt.  US collections west.  If any one wants to know where they are located.  It is not hard to find, it is in Scottsdale on Thomas RD.  right before Phoenix on the North side of the road.  See if they think they are so bad now they can be located.  They are drug addicts I know, my ex girlfriend worked for them.

They can garnish my check 100% if they want to. I've been laid off in 2009 from a job I held for 26 years. I have not found a job since. So, come on down US WEST, garnish all you want. All I have is my big bat and a couple of torpedos sitting between my legs.

Yeah I just found out about how serious US Collections West is when they started garnishing my check. You should take them seriously, I got evicted from an apartment like two years ago and had a 6 thousand dollar bill, they took me to court and got a judgement. Now they take 25% out of every check,,, I could have settled the debt for half but I told them to get lost. I really regret that....
If these people are calling you, chances are you got evicted, got a judgement (a court order to pay restitution), and if you are working they can simply take 25% of your check.... you should call them back and make a deal,,, I really wish I had.

they called my cell phone asking for some one wiht similar name, I talked to repers today both were nasty and all they wanna from me was money, they did not care at all that this is a total mistake.

They called my cell phone and keep asking for my husband.I asked how they my my cell # and he said they summonds it. Bull**** cause my cell phone isn't under my name. They said that they were a law firm and that I could be taken to court and have a judgement put against me for the same issue that AJ above is dealing with. They don't scare me!!!!!!!!

Someone at my job brought me a fax with my name and social security number on it that had been faxed to an unmonitored fax machine requesting information about me.  My SSN is confidential information and should not be used without my permission or without the receiver being aware that a fax is coming through.

This should STOP immediately.
