I get calls from this # fromNew Hampshire and nobody speaks or leaves message. Very irritating! Wish the do-not-call law applied to this situation!

got a call from (603) 000-8027 today around 1:00 pm. I didn't answer the call since I don't know anyone in that area code. My answering machine picked up after the 4th ring. My message went completely through BEFORE they hung up without saying a word. This is very irritating!!  I looked the phone number up on the Internet, and found out it is from New Hampshire and it is a landline. Unfortunately, I didn't get any other information about the number.

I got a call from this number today and they said they were working to do rate reduction on all Visa and MC accounts that had double digit interest rates.  They asked me for the customer service number on the back of my USB Visa card.  I gave them the number and they said it would qualify.  They knew how much my balance was and my last payment amount. Through the course of the call I did give them the full account number : o (.  After that they asked for another account but I did not give any other numbers only the first 4.  They said yes I qualified for a rate reduction and would get something in the mail soon and the call ended abruptly.  Thinking I had been scammed, I called and closed my USB account and am getting a new card.  And called my local authorities to report the possible scam.  DON'T TALK TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!  HANG UP OR DON'T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE !!!!!

loooooooooooosers.  Look, I get it when I see a number that makes no sense that you're already an a-hole...then they confirm when they hang up when I ask, politely, to be removed from their calling list.  A-holes.....thank god my kids wouldn't sink this low as to work there.  Get real people....you SUCK..

Called at 5:22 PM Central time.  No voice mail.  I don't think you could have an exchange number of 000, so I think they are modifying the caller id.

This number is being spoofed by Portfolio Recovery Services (Debt Collector) gathering information to create an account with someone.

Recorded message. Credit card protection?  Punched "0" got human who hung up on me when said no to "service."

Unknown number to me.

ONE RING ANNOYANCE CALL

Just got a call like so many other folks on this list.  Third one this week.  We don't have a credit card with a balance.  Again tried to tell them I was on DNC registry and they used F%$*# and other choice words.  Can anyone tell me how to file a complaint??

this is caller id spoofing from criminals seeking to steal your info. complain to the phone regulators--your public utility commission.  Why do we pay for a broken caller ID system?

I have pressed #9 on three occasions and directed them to remove our phone number from their call lists.  Last agent hissed into the phone, said "I cannot hear you sir -- there is static on the line" and hung up.  I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

i have received many calls from this number. i don't even have a credit card! today i received one, pressed 9, got a man on the phone, and very politely asked him to take my number off their list.  his response:  "no we can't take you off our list, we like harassing you you &^*($&# a_hole dick" and then he hung up on me.  i tried the number back but it didn't work.  this is such a violation of FCC rules i'd love to track them down and report them.

Received the recorded message then a male came on the line.  When I asked politely for his number he said it was 1-800 eat d---.  I have reported it.  They call almost daily and interrupt my other calls!

Yes, you can try to request to place on DNC list, but they will hang up on you.  I have filed a complaint with the DO NOT CALL registry.

Got a call from this number today at 12:39 pm CST with NEW HAMPSHIRE and 603-000-8027 on the caller ID.  They did not leave a message.  Sounds like they are up to no good as per all the other posts about calls from this number.

WATCH OUT A-HOLES....I FORGOT TO HAVE MY FOG HORN CLOSE BY BUT NOT NEXT TIME...RIGHT IN YOUR FRICKING EAR NEXT TIME....AND THERE ISN'T ANYTHING ILLEGAL ABOUT THAT!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Got a call today but when he ask for a statement to get info from  I said I wanted info on his company    he hung up.  Figured it was a scam within 2 seconds of first talking.  I am reporting this phone #

Just got off the phone with a great guy from Charter who lead me here. It's a telemarketing company using something called "number spoofing". This is currently not illegal but many states are trying to make it so.
Strange that the guy hangs up on me when I ask what card this is in regard to if it is a telemarketing co. - just hope they can't get any info in some way with this call.
Keep reporting this and talk to your congress people!

Yes, just a while ago.  This obviously is a scam.

Hang up on us before we can tell them to put us on the do not call list.

Same thing... I got two calls today.... ( 11:50 am ) One on my daughter's teen line and one on our home line... so rude... they disconnect you too fast for you to tell them to put you on the Do Not Call list.

I got the Card Services call too.  I forwarded to live voice and informed him he was in violation of Do Not Call laws.  He said no such list exists.  I filed a complaint with donotcall.gov.    I believe this is probably an off shore criminal operation.

this number has been showing up on my caller id for a couple of days now. I don't answer. Annoying how many times they try with no result!!! They sure are persistent!! ...I wonder how my number gets to them, in the first place, but not curious enough to grace them with answering the call!!

I got a call from this number this morning and it was an automated call saying my debit/credit card had been suspended due to a third parties usage and to press 1 to be connected with a representative.  I'm certain they would have been asking for all my personal data and I didn't recognize the number so I hung up on them and reported them to MAX FCU who said they would NEVER have an automated service calling me informing me of a problem and that it would have been a LIVE PERSON.  

Please be careful when accepting calls like this because they sound legit and if you were to press 1 to connect to them and then enter or give any of your personal information to them in order to "verify your identity" - well, the crooks now have all they need to wipe out your account(s).

REMEMBER!  IF YOU DIDN'T INITIATE THE CALL, NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO ANYONE.  If they are legit, you can hang up and call the number you are familiar with or look it up in the phone book and call their local number and provide them with your info and you should be safe but don't even take the number they might provide you because anyone can "say" they are someone when they aren't.

Same comment as Bruce on 26 May 2010.  Didn't take the time to ask them not to call since my home number was being forwarded to my cell phone and I had to eat the minutes the way it was.  Reported to the Do Not Call Registry web site (donotcall.gov).

I have received numerous calls from this number about lowering my credit card rate.  It is called Membership Services.  I have pressed 9 and asked to have my number removed. ONE person said she would do that, which she did not do.  All of the othesr HUNG UP ON ME, too.

I am now going to the Do Not Call Registry to see about filing a complaint.

i got a call from this number 6/9/10 at 4:44 and didnt answer...they listened to our voice mail and agian waited 3 secs and hung up

skumbags just called me .....if i dont recognize it i dont answer it
