Got tired of harassment from these people, after asking them to remove me from their list.  I engaged the caller for a while, and then I said, "They are not going to pay you.  I know someone that worked for Global Rewards for two weeks, and they never got paid.  This company is a bunch of crooks that will use your labor but never pay you for it."   The call was abruptly disconnected.

If they call me again, I will continue to try to convince each caller that they are being ripped off by Global Rewards.  Perhaps this is a bit unethical, but I am determined to fight back against these con artists.

I had the same experience as you (they knew the last 4 digits of my card number and my home address). But also:
1- the card they referenced had been compromised some time back and was closed
2- they called me on my business phone

The only people who have my business phone for them to get like that is Citicard, who issued the MasterCard they referenced.

They've called twice now and I'm trying to figure out what to do next. I agree with you - it IS scary!!

They ring and ring as if it's an emergency!  603 is New Hampshire so that is probably a way to avoid our Canadian No Call List.

I told the caller that I had a do not call number. I asked them to make a notation on their log sheet. They told me "do not tell me what to do" and than hung up. The person speaker had an East Indian accent and was VERY rude.

This is a telemarketing group who has access to VISA card holders. If you have a credit card make sure #1 NEVER list your Cellular number because it will be passed to VISA's "Marketing Partners"
#2- Make sure you select the "do not call" statements on the applications, or if you pay VISA on line, go to "my Account" and select them. Also being on the " do not call" list is good fro 5 years, then you must re-establish them. Normally you will find out once the calls begin.

I got a call from this number.  The caller ID said "Service Announcement".  I answered it, and a woman who said her name was Angela Davis from Global Rewards was on the other end.  It was a very noisy room behind her.
She said something about getting a gift card or something...she quoted the last 4 of a card I own, and then she wanted me to verify my address.  The scary thing....SHE HAD IT.  I didn't verify her.  I said  "I don't know who you are!  Why should I give you any information?!"  I hung up on her and I immediately called my bank.
We are going to watch my account for any fraudulent activity, and I will not be liable for any charges.
Scary!!

Don't believe a word you hear from anyone who calls from this number. It's a telemarketing scam. One caller is an adult male who tries to be folksy and uses your name and the last four digits of the last known credit card info they have on you. Another is an Asian woman who has a lot of weird background noise on her calls, as if she is pretending to be calling from a busy office. One idiot caller had hip-hop music playing in the background. They claim to have vouchers for things like free gas. It's all b***s***. You'll never receive anything from these people except bogus charges on your credit card. If they start calling, have your local phone company block the number so that they can't call you again. If they have the last four digits of any active credit card of yours, cancel it immediately. If you have elderly relatives who are getting these calls, make sure to check their credit card statements carefully for odd charges. That is who they are after, gullible older victims

I turned on my phone today, only to find out that I had about 20 missed calls, all from this Global Rewards, Club Save, or whoever they decide they want to be.  Don't fall for it!  I do want to find out where they got the last four digits of my credit card info from though.  It is illegal for any other company to sell or share any of my financial information with others.  My checking account was frauded for over $100 the day of Black Friday 2009 when I was out shopping.  I bet this has to do with that.  I had cancelled that bank card and guess what, these losers are referencing that same number.

I've asked this company at least 6 times to take me off their call list, but they continue to call. The same company uses other numbers too. They are soliciting gas vouchers based on my "good credit history' on my Master Card. At the beginning, I accepted the gas vouchers that they charged $2.95 to ship to me. They never arrived.  I called to cancel the service, they apologized & promised to send the vouchers. Still no vouchers.

I also just got about 5 calls in the last hour or so from 603-214-3311, and you just posted that a couple hours ago.  I couldn't understand the guy because of a thick indian accent and loud background noise (it's worse than when someone calls from a loud bar) but he said something about a card and said congratulations.

I hope this doesn't become a regular thing now.

Contact the FTC and file a complaint as I did.  If it is a nationwide problem they will file a class action law suit or even fine the company lots of money.  they called me 17 times today alone and it's only 2pm god knows how many more times they are going to call even after I told them to stop calling.

I have already pressed 1 to stopped calls but I have received 11 calls from this number since 7:00 this morning! I don't know how they got my phone number because they hang up everytime I ask. They ask for the wrong person ut have my number and I pay a lot of money to keep my phone on so I don't need any companies abusing it.

I have been being called at work, so I registered my work number on the Do Not Call Registery.  I also called all the numbers below and hit "1" to not be called again (the message indicates it may take up to 72 hours to take effect).  I checked ftc.gov and it sounds like you need to be on the Do Not Call Registery for 31 days before you can file a complaint.  Here are the numbers I called - all the messages were the same:  If we know of others, we should keep adding to the list.

I have been getting several calls a day from this number. I have yet to answer thanks to the messages from the folks who have. Pretty scary scam. It's amazing that there is not a way to block this type of number.

Contacting the FCC is exactly what I am going to do.

Heavily accented lady who knows the last four digits of my master card number.  She wanted to give me a gift of 150 dollars worth of gasoline.

She also knew my name and wanted to verify my address.

I was the victiim of a scam coming from Panama about a week ago when I gave out my information to a company called ROYALBIZ.US.  Using my debit card which I gave to them they charged 87 dollars and change to my checking account.  The charge was coming from Panama.  They reversed the charge immediately when they found out that they had a retired US Marine on the hook who was bored and looking for a battle to fitght.

The charge also included a foreign fee for the funds transfer from the US to Panama.

lt is interesting to be able to vent my spleen on this website but what can be done besides changing my debit card so that they don't have any reason to call me when they only have the last four numbers of a cancelled card.

I keep getting these calls as well just the same story as everyone else. However, I was not answering them but got so ticked off at it that I started playing their little game. I would answer the phone then hang up. It's pathetic. The only problem is that once they get slammed on the phone numbers they have they will get different ones and keep their scam going.

I am going to contact the Federal Trade Commission that's who usually handles the do-not call lists and unwanted telephone solicitation scams. I think it may be a good idea if everyone did this. You can either email the FTC or file an online complaint. Their website is www.ftc.gov

Also, did a bit of researching and Buyers Club, Merchant Rewards, Global Rewards, etc. are all from the same call center/company. They redirect their lines to different area codes to look like they are in other areas. Such a big scam but yes they are all the same place running several at one time so it's hard to pinpoint.
