they call twice a day every day but the weekends   getting tired of it

Just got a call from this number and i ddnt anwer as i ddnt know who was calling and i have NOOOOOOOO idea how they even got my phone number as i am on the DO NOT CALL LIST........they need to stop calling me

I have pressed 1 and it did not good.  I'm on the do not call list as well.  I've filed a comlaint, and will file again because they called again yesterday.

Don't know who it is and tried calling back but all I got was a busy signal.

I have received MANY calls from this number--more than once a day!  They all go to my answer machine, but they never  leave a message.

I have been receiving calls from this niumber.

My number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

How to I press charges?

Person called ... Asked if we need any help ??? ... I told him no, thanked him and hung up ... STRANGE !!!

rcvd call this morning from 603-214-3696 AMLIFEMONITORIN @9:35AM no answer.  just think this time it was a bad dial/wrong number

They call me all the time with no recorded message. It hangs up, once my recorder is activated. However, If you do answer with a hello, a person will greet you. I've asked them to stop calling but they continue to call. I've reported them, along with other numbers to the Do No Call Registry. This Registry has NEVER helped in my case. I now answer these calls and place my phone next to my portable radio speaker with it on until they hang up. At least I'm making them pay for the long distance call and maybe I can annoy them back.

Do Not Call.

If you actually get a person, tell them not to call you anymore.  Legally, they have to stop if you tell them to.  If they don't, file complaints with FCC and it will be investigated and they can be fined.  You can also tell them that you have filed a lawsuit if they don't stop calling and that should make them stop.  I've only gotten one call so far and didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.

these people are annoying and call everyday.  after reading the comments i decided not to call them back and tell them to cut it out so I will report them on the do not call registry of which I have been signed up for years

Received several unwanted calls from this number.   No message left.   Finally answered, it was "Tom from American Life Monitoring."   Told him I'd like to be removed from his calling list.   He promptly hung up on me.

I have received calls from this number 3 days in a row.  The ID says AmLifeMontirIn.  I just pick up and hang up the fun.  I have complained but nothing ever happens.  I just hope the will get tired of receiving no contact and just go away.

Received call from this no. - AMLIFEMONITORINC on Caller ID... nobody responded.... already on "DO NOT CALL" list.... if they call again, I'll file a formal complaint with FCC .....

Multiple calls; no one on the line.  very annoying.

I've been getting calls early in the morning from this number...I'm really tired of it and am looking for someplace to report these niusance calls.

Keep getting calls but nobody answers when you pick up. Called # back and it was busy. This has happened everyday for a week so far.

They called and left no message.  I am registered with Do Not Call.  But it doesn't do any good.

Spammers who call and hang up when they connect with my voicemail... just delete / reject.

Just spoke to "Tom," let him know there were several forum threads dedicated to his number, the fact that he is not respecting the "Do Not Call" list, that I am on that list... Silence... "Did you hear me Tom?"
Seemed superficially apologetic. "Tom, do you know that this constitutes harassment?" Silence... Made a statement to the effect that I would not be hearing from him again. "Ah, but I've actually spoken to an attorney Tom, and the next time, you may actually be hearing from me!"

Boy did that feel good...

I've gotten multiple calls (never answered) from this number and trying to call back only results in a busy signal.

With everyone who has complained on this forum, why does this not constitute harassment?

I believe the do not call list is a waste of time. These people get around this stuff as long as they are tied to a church. I have never had the do not call people contact me persistent callers.

Why waste your time reporting these Do Not Call violations to the FTC? It is now obvious the Government is doing nothing to enforce the DNC, which is why we are getting more and more of these scumbag calls. If the Government was this lax and enforcing the income tax laws, I doubt many people would bother paying them. Instead, complain directly to your congressman and explain that is action is NOT taken now, you will join the anti-incumbent party and vote all the incompetents out of office.

Why can we not get restrictions on selling phone number lists, and prosecution for those who do?  It is becoming an epidemic, and many of them are scams.  I turn in all these calls to do not call, but nothing ever seems to happen.
