I still receive calls even after being told a cease and desist order has been sent to make it stop. I just spoke to the Los Angeles FBI regarding consumer fraud.

According to the FBI agent who took my call a case has to built on awareness of the situation in order to take action.

these people call me like twice a day, every day. i have no idea how they got my number. when i try to call, it's busy.

This number has called REPEATEDLY!  Am positive they bought my number off one of the apps I downloaded on my Droid phone.

I also got a phone call from that number and they also hung up once I answered the phone and I am also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!

These people have bin calling to give me debt relief and the second I say that i am on a do not call list they hang up. So I have bin playing into the scam and tell them I am interested then I can get a name but after a few more questions they hang up really fast. Please call the do not call #18883821222 and file a complaint it only takes two minutes. This is a total pain in the a** but they are complete scam artists.

Hello everyone. I got to the bottom of this as I've collected the phone numbers calling on a daily basis including the one on this thread for the past few months. Numbers with Massachusetts and New Hampshire area codes are provided by Bay Ring Communications in New Hampshire (603) 766-1000 who provides dial tones to phone numbers according to Shayle Wormel Credit Service Representative. These dial tones to phone numbers were acquired by TM Caller ID LLC in Portland, Oregon according to David Nelson a company compliance representative handling complaints who then in turn does business by leasing several thousands of phone numbers with caller ID's to collections agencies including businesses overseas. The number in this thread 603-214-9037 as well as others are from a collection agency overseas. He cannot give the names of the companies overseas due to a non-disclosure act signed with them, however, he can submit your phone number to them with a cease and desist to prevent future calls. TO MAKE IT STOP! Contact David Nelson 866-225-1956 and request your number to be submitted for cease and desist. Process due to overseas can take up to 48 hours but usually rectified within 24 hours. I did it before writing this message and want to help others stop this harassing, aggravating, and time consuming nonsense.

I got a call from this number - a recording about my last offer regarding my credit card debt.  Filed a complaint

I got a call last night from this number. It was a guy saying that he worked with the Federal Loan Service and he could settle my school loans. I was interested seeing that I do have school loans that I could use a settlement on. I asked him what collection agency he was with because I'm a sales manager at one. I know in order to be able to settle these types of debts, you have to be with some sort of agency that follows the rules and regulations of the FDCPA. This guy obviously did not. He said he works directly with the government. I asked what kind of company he worked for because it started to sound more and more like a scam, and he hung up on me. In order to settle my debt of around $1,000 they would need to get my CC information for me to make a payment. If I was dumb enough to provide that, I would have just been scammed. I called back 20 times and got nothing but busy signals. I called the number that clvgb gave out. They said they will have my number purged from their system, so we'll see about that. Watch out for these guys!!!

Why would you think being on the do not call list would get you off of these scam phone numbers?

I get calls from this company from many different numbers about lowering my credit card interest rate.  It usually offers a choice to talk to a rep to get your rate lowered.  When I have managed to get rep on the line and tell them I am on the Do Not Call registry, I always get hung up on before I can even finish my sentence.

So this is not the only number this company calls from.....

I am reporting this annoying constant soliciting from this phone number. Please make it stop.

Received call today on my cell phone from this number, my cell phone and my home phone are both on the DNC list. That was of ten minutes of my life. I get calls like this on both phones. I don't answer the phone if the number is blocked or from another state. I just don't get it!!!!
If I want to buy some thing, I'll go looking for it!!

Call from this number twice in 2 days

Forgot to add, the automated message tells you to "press 1" if you want to be placed on a Do Not Call list, however if you don't it doesn't connect you to anyone or anything.  It just hangs-up.  What if you were actually interested in their offer?  (Not that I ever would be, it just doesn't make any sense when they are barraging you with calls).

Received 4 missed calls from this number today, no voicemails.  I arranged my phone's setting to hide my number and called back, it was an automated system that picked up.  However, they don't provide the name of the company.

Keep getting calls from this number and no one is there! The best thing is, when I call back it's always busy!!!!

THis no has been frustrating my life. It calls day and night. Even when I am busy doing something, the phone rings. And guess what? It's them. The most annoying thing is that no one answers. You can leave the phone on for whatevr min... No one comes on the other end. It's really crazy.

Called at 4:07 and again at 5:25 7/6/11. Glad I didn't take call.   Such a world of vultures we live in.

Just got a call from this number on our business phone.  I did not pick up and they left no message. Caller ID was "Service Message"

I've received calls from this same number before. After hitting the prompt to be removed, I got another call. This time, I hit the prompt to talk to someone. When he answered I asked him the name of the company. He then hung up on me. So I went straight to donotcall.gov and filed a complaint.

I thought when we put our phonen umbers on a do not call  list, we are not supposed to get solicitation calls? Has anyone ever HEARD of a company getting find or is it all a bunch of hogwash??? I got called just now,, i dont bother answering these stupid calls,, why would i want to waste my minutes? (no unlimited plan here...) If you have verizon use mr number to block unwanted calls, works like a charm :) it does the pick up hang up method.

Received a call from number 603-214-9037 5 days ago and it said " we spoke on the phone last week... " and I hung up AND now they just called my cell again, during work hours! I ignored it this time. How annoying.

Said they were with google maps... kind of fishy.

WOW!! They told me something completely different! Said they were updating my listing on Google Maps. We got disconnected

Had a missed call yesterday but with no voicemail (good sign it's nothing legit). Received another call today while at work but we can't answer our personal phones at work. Again no voicemail so I figured I'd check it out and found this site right away.

Lower interest rate on credit cards.  I am on do not call list and should not be called.  I have asked to be removed from their list repeatedly.
