Woman said that I put something in a drop box to win blah, blah, blah...I told her not to call my cell phone again and asked what company she was calling from: she said "in season."
Always on my caller ID. Keeps calling about once a day. Of course when I not home.
The strings attached are: They are a tele marketer, you have to tour their Resort in Falmouth MA, and they try to sell you a time share. You can get the 4 free tickets to fly any where they have a resort and you have to stay in one of their resorts and pay the asking price for the room..... Which is where they make up the diffenence in the "so called ***FREE TICKETS"...
I recently went to the Home Show at the Host in Stubridge MA where I was told that I was entering a "free" raffle and the prize was a new car... I distincly asked the person handing out the tickets if this company was really raffling a car and made it clear that my number had better not be givin out to any one as a sales call. Well, I was wrong to enter and she lied. Now I am receiving anoying calls. Please post this message.
Interesting. I did fill out a form at the Hartford Boat Show, so that is who keeps calling. My friend recvd a call from the same company and she drove to Falmouth Mass (Cape Code area) from CT and did in fact picked up 4 tickets to fly anywhere in the US within the next 2 years. She did have to go pick up directly and no strings were attached with the tickets.
I've had the exact same call, same name and everything.
Someone called asking for a Mr. Wile. When I told them "wrong number," they said that Mr. Wile had registered for a prize at the Rhode Island boat show and had won the drawing. She said she had a very valuable prize package for him. Then she said she was guessing that somebody had put the name in as a joke and she'd be happy to pass the prize onto me since they left my phone number on the drawing. That's when they tell me they have all these valuable FREE RT airline tickets for me to places like Hawaii, California, Florida, etc. Smell a rat? Finally, they say, oh, but the catch is you have to come to our nearest distribution center to pick up - which is in Massachusetts. That's when I hung up.
i didn't answer it.
this is a vacation resort company - I think they sell timeshares
