I was called by this number the other day, and I saw it on the TV screen.
I hope that something can be done about all of this.

I have been getting calls from Warranty Service for months now. I even talked to their representatives (by pressing 1) 4 times and asked them to remove my phone no. (it was my work's) from their call list. Each time they assured me that it will be done in 72 hours. The latest one is today, July 28 2008, more like 5 minutes ago. This time, as soon as someone came on the line, I asked what company this was and also the phone no. incase I need to call back. I was given their phone no. as 954-734-8504. This is really frustrating!!!!

I got one of these calls today. Same number. I was at a friend's house earlier in the day and she said she got a call saying her warranty was up, etc etc. and I thought it was a coincidence because just last week, my father had been saying how he gets them all the time. Shortly after I had told her that, I too got a call from a number I didn't recognize. I did a search on here and saw this post.

I'm wondering if it's a coincidence that the only two other people I know who have gotten these calls are the two to whom I send text messages the most. Might it have something to do with our phonebook entries in our phones? I don't think anyone deliberately sold phone numbers, but that it might have been some sort of hacking. I have AT&T, but my friend has Verizon, so there's no other common tie but the phonebooks.

As frustrating as it is (especially because I have a prepaid phone and can't waste minutes), it's pretty funny. They try saying that it's the second time they have called, but they say it every time. The 8th, 9th, 10th times are not the 2nd haha

After seeing all of these responses, I added the number to address book so I won't answer it and can keep track of how many times they call for documentation.

Unknown Caller - When I tried to call back, it said "This number is no longer in service." I had a call exactly like this one the day before, only it was a different number : 1-408-688-5907. JUNK TELLEMARKERS!!!

They got my cell. Glad I found this page, as I thought they might be referring to the vehicle I just purchased (not like they could tell me what vehicle anyways). Wonder how they got my cell and who sold it to them?

I have been getting this call off and on for the last 6 weeks.
I have no car in warr. I press the number everytime to be removed from the call list and the fact that I am on a no call list the should not be calling me anyway.

they called me once yesterday and once today...i spoke to someone yesterday after pressing 1 and they asked what make and model car i was driving..i said "what? what are you talking about" and they  said "crap" and hung up..then today when they called (different number, same recording saying something about my 'cars warrenty'...) no one came on the phone..when i called the first number back (954-734-8504), they answered the phone the same way as if the call were transfered to them (*click* what is the make and model of your car?)--i didnt say anything--, i called back a few times and once or twice someone said their name and a different company that i coiuldnt make out...the second number--this numnber--i got a not in service recording for

603 217-4004 On June 13, 2008, I was contacted by this number at 1:10 pm and again after 5pm.  It was a recording about my vehicle warranty.
I've been getting this call for the last several weeks. I don't own a vehicle with a warranty. Whoever is responsible for this phone abouse....I hope they die soon.

Just now, June 13th at about 1:00pm CDT, I got the same car warranty recording I've been getting about three times a day for months.  I only own one car which is 20 years old with about 60,000 miles (obviously not a big driver).  I tried asking the rep (after pressing 1) what car they had on record for me. She asked, "What make and model?"  I said, "No, I'm asking you what car you think I have."  She summarily hung up on me.  I tried calling back and got the not in service message.

On June 11, 2008, at around 2:00pm, I was contacted by this number.  It was a recording about my vehilce warranty, (which expired 20,000 miles ago).  I too pressed 1 and spoke with a female.  I had some fun and inquired about how much it would cost.  She stated I would have to put 400.00 down, and then there would be a monthly charge.  I informed her that i was on the do not call list, and she abrubtly hung up the phone.   I tried calling the number back, and got a recording about it not being in service.  Sounds like a total scam to me.

On June 11, 2008, I was contacted by this number at 3:10 pm.  It was an recording telling me my auto warranty was about to expire (don't have a vehicle even eligible for warranty), and I am also on the national and Wisconsin no-call list, as my husband works third shift and his sleep is disturbed by these calls.  I pressed "1" to talk to a representative, and proceeded to tell the man that I was on the no-call list and it was illegal for them to keep calling me (have been getting these calls for many months).  His word for word response, and I quote - "Listen bi***, it's not illegal, you f****ng bi***" and then hung up on me.
