For several months, I have received voice mail with the exact message as Greg C, and like he, I am not the person they are leaving the message for.  I called back and spoke to a man (would not give his name)  who was nasty and said he would take my number off of the call list. Today, I received a local call, 412-346-1370 with the same message and "case number".  I called back as they requested to, 412-346-1349, supposedly the legal dept.  I spoke to a Ms Henderson, complained about them calling me and she asked for my info, I told her no and she said if we do not have your info, then you are going to continue to receive calls and hung up. I have reported this earlier to the FBI and will make a complaint to the FCC today, as well as notifying my attorney.  I have also received the call from 916-282-1314 and 603-296-2334.  

NOTE --- IF you were to be served, you would receive a mailed letter or a document delivered by an officer of the court. They would come UNANNOUNCED.  Phone calls, faxes & emails are NOT any notice - you have been notified of NOTHING.  .  This is a scam to extort money from someone who is probably NOT in the United States.  You can NOT be arrested even if you did owe money.  If in doubt, check with your local civil court and report the numbers to the FTC.

I received two calls within the last 3 weeks stating: " This message is intended for Michael C. Forlaith,( which isn't me) I received a fax order regarding your civil complaint that was filed against you. I have been retained to serve you with that to appear in court either your residents or place of employment. , if you have any questions or concerns about the complaint or wish to rectify the matter outside of court before you are served  you need to call 603-296-2334 when calling please reference your case number CAB28041 you have been officially been notified."

Same thing.. They called me and left me threatening messages and said it was from Capital One.. I told them I don't owe Capital One any money and just received a credit card from them.. They hung up on me but call me almost every afternoon when I am at work and leave the same threatening message.  Yesterday I attempted to call back and they hung up on me twice!!

we need to report this people to the FCC FBI ATTORNEY GENERAL..  they can give somebody a heart attack

Got a call from 603.296.2334 and 916.282.1314 both trying to tell me about fraudulent activity and that if I didn't return their call I would be served a summons. First off if that was true the cops would be at my door and would not get a warning. They obviously think I am stupid. I have heard that when you call them back you get yelled at if you don't give them personal info over the phone. Again if they think I am just going to give them my personal info over the phone to then they must think I am stupid. According to the voicemail they already have it so why do they need it again?? So i just ignore the call and delete the voicemail before it even finishes. I get these kind of calls every year from people trying to scam me so if anybody is worried about it don't be. They are full of it and just want your money

They left me a message Monday after 5:00 stating they were the proof of summons department and had 2 counts of fraudulent activtity connected to my name and SS# and if I didn't return their call I would be served at my place of employment or home address. I called back and received a voice mail so I left them a message. They returned my call today but I was unable to answer it. It sounded like the same recorded message but only got about 3 seconds of it???? I will not be calling back this time!!!

This number keeps calling saying that I've been served

Today I received a call from 603.296.2334 from an unidentified caller saying he was retained by fax order to serve me papers on a civil suit and that I had "officially been notified" and cited the same case number left from another call I received from 916.282.1314. See below...

Received vmail Feb 11 and Feb 16 about 2 counts of fraud linked to my name and SS#, and that a summons would be served at my home and work. Unidentified person said all my rights would be waived unless I called the legal department at 916.282.1314. Both numbers appear to be part of a scam...
