They told me I owed a phone bill to NYNEX at an address I have not lived at in twenty years. So a debt to a defuct company from way past any statute of limitations I know of!

I answered this call and a recorded voice started saying " The FBI has reported a home breakin" and then hung up.

The computer calls your number and if they are not on another call, someone will start talking...that us why usually no one is there when you answer.
The slumdogs hired weekly to work in these call centers are paid on commission, so they are NOT going to stop the computer from calling you until they get paid!  You will never get debt satisfaction!
They don't care anything about you!  Any discounted payment merely re-starts the 7 year Debt Collection Limit and THEY WILL then just re-sell your debt to ANOTHER scummy Debt Collector!

They call me at random hours since I now live in the west coast and they do not leave messages and when I answer they do not answer back. So annoying.

This number calls several times a day.  They never leave  a message and if/when I answer the number disconnects.  I've sent several text messages to the number advising them to stop calling but no change.  From reading other posts this is a collection number.  Obviously it has a wrong number because all my bills are current with no overdue debt.

These guys call once or twice a day, hang up when I answer the phone.  Irritating.

They called asking for a woman I don't know.  This is the 3rd call, I did not answer the other two.  The man was sorry  about the wrong number, but still asked if I knew the woman.  We will see if I get more calls from this number.

These morons have been calling my 12 year olds phone and not leaving messages. I called the number and asked what type of buisness they were and were told that they are a marketing company. Total BS. I asked why they werer calling my 12 year old's phone and was told they have wrong info in their system and will remove her number.
Time will tell.

This is a collection agency with headquarters located in St. Paul, Minnesota.  One of their accounts is AT&T.  I paid my bill and they are still calling.  I sent them proof of payment but they still calling.  I filed a complaint with the FCC and they still calling.  Maybe I am not rich enough, just a middle class worker, whose taxes are not payment enough for the salaries in the FCC, and do not have the right contacts, just a regular gal.  The criminals have more protection against collection bullying than the rest of law abiding citizens.

They call my wife's phone non-stop. We returned their equipment and it either got lost in transit (FedEx problem, not mine) or, as the customer service rep that I called stated: "This happens sometimes where the incoming products don't get credited to the account." I thought it was a non-issue and then they turned me into collections!

What do you think of this AT&T can not say they are not Responsible !

I get calls from these harrassing people all the time....every single day! I have an at&t prepaid phone they call on, so obviously there is nothing to collect on from me (if I don't pre-pay for my minutes, then my phone doesn't work, and I have no phone contract or debts of any kind) so I know they have no business contacting me. I really wish they would stop calling...they call up until 9pm and as early as 8am. They never leave a voicemail and I've never answered, but I feel like I have to live each day avoiding these jerks....I'M NOT THE PERSON YOU WANT....STOP CALLING ME!
