Actually they close at 9 pm, so your info is false. No one is there past 9 pm because i work in the therapy place right across from them and i got a missed call from them and didnt know the number..i came here and found out.

This actually IS a scam!  It is a for profit corporation that conducts fundraising for a very small collective  group of NH firefighters that do not have the time or inclination to conduct fundraising for their own local fire departments.  Very little of the money collected by this company goes back to the fire departments, if any at all.  They purportedly 'rent' a UNH facility for their hooky annual C&W concert with a 'no name' group.  The firm's expenses and high 'executive' salaries skim just about ALL the collected 'donations'.  I believe even their payout to the "firefighters" does not go to each department, but instead to individual "firefighters" rather than local FDs!!!

Beware of this SCAM and simply donate to your own local Fire Department.  That is the only way you will be assured that your firefighter donation goes in full and directly to a group that will use it for the intended purpose!

FF please expalin why this for profit firm is now blocking its CallerID name on all its solicitations.  Why is the firm hiding behind a 'blocked' ID robo call that usually hangs up when we answer the call?  This group is NOT a union.  Check with the NH Attorney General's office for the true story.

I recieved a call from someone named Jason who talked over me when I was trying to speak.  Someting about a concert somewhere to help my local fire department.  I told him I couldn't and he mumbled somthing about me being a cheap fu$* and hung up on me.  
I'm filing a formal complaint with the attorney generals office and would encourage anyone else who's been talked to like this to do the same.

If you knew how much of the money that they raise actually go to the sponsoring group you would be outraged...10%.  So if you donate $100 the sponsor gets $10 and these guys keep $90. It a total scam and they use ligament groups like Fire Fighters, Police, and Veterans originations to get you to donate.  The set up local phone banks rape the area and move on to the next area. They have a runner that once you donate the runner is at your house or place of business in seconds before you change your mind.

I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  They called around 8 p.m. and didn't leave a message.  I HATE these kinds of calls.  I have added them to my ILLEGAL CALLS contact so if they call again I won't hear it as I have a silent ringtone for that contact.

To the last poster:  no, the telemarketing companies don't get about 20% of what they raise -- THEY GET MORE LIKE 80% and the "charity" gets 20%.  You sound like you work for them.  (Telemarketers brighten your wife's day?  Seriously?)

There was a former manager running this place named Matt Crow who beat the crap out of the state and was not a good asset and was caught red handed. He now calls for a company in Manchester and screws people over there to calling for maryland or something stupid like that..( I ALWAYS DO MY RESEARCH BEFORE I DONATE)  Anywho. I love giving to the PFFNH. I believe alot of these programs they fire fighters work on are an excellent benefit to the communities. Things like medical ID cards, portable C.O units, FIRE SAFETY COLORING BOOKS!!! Remember those? Yea! Thanks to these guys doing the calls our kids are able to recieve these...THE FIRE SAFETY CIGGARETTE LAW!!!!! ..YES!....Thanks to our PFFNH guys we now have that law into effect. Think about it people...our fire fighters are out there 24/7!!!! They dont have time to call. PLUS!! Its illegal for a firefighter or police officer to call you!!!!!!!!!! Do you work for free??? ABSOULTELY NOT!!! These guys are telemarketers they get about 80% of what they collect. The home agency gets 60%, the caller 20% and maybe the firefighters or police 20%. They also will lie when asked where the money goes.

My mother has donated to this in the past and I did it on her behalf when she asked me to.... But recently they have been calling at 12:30 MIDNIGHT... What the heck is that about?  I have the ringer turned off on the house phone so that it won't bother my mother who gets agitated when it rings... (She has alzheimer's disease) She won't be donating to this kind of thing again... I can't believe we're getting calls in the middle of the night.

Unprofessional and rude, I couldn't get a word in edgewise either.  What a poor representation of the fire service.  I specifically asked what department and he told me it was for my local fire station specifically.

Received a call from 603-437-0035. I couldnt get a word in edgewise. I have a private/blocked line and was amazed when I got a solicitor of ANY kind. Hubby and I are both retired firefighters, and we have NEVER heard of a fire station making cold calls to solicit funds. We see firefighter standing on street corners with a boot in their hands, or fund raisers that are put on in or around our surrounding towns, but we have NEVER received union based calls asking us to go to some concert. I worked hard to interrupt the caller to ask him to please ID himself, and simply couldnt get a word in. He made bad jokes, and was clearly reading from a script (badly and quickly). I handed the phone over to the hubby and said "take care of this please" he too worked hard to get this man to ID himself, but he just kept saying he was a firefighter with UNH...um...what the heckpie does UNH stand for? Hubby asked where this money goes? The answer was to brag about the cover band. We were offered the chance to have these tickets mailed to us and we could send our donation at a later date. NO! was our answer. it was weird, strange and odd. I donate to many fire related causes each year, but I do it through channels that make sure the firefighters get the money. The organization is clearly identified, and we can clearly and easily understand whom we are talking to. I had to google the # to find out any information about them. I have blocked them from my phone.
