Received call this morning.  Man with accent from India.  Wants me to receive "medical compensation".  I told him I was not interested three times.  He began to argue with me.  I hung up.

how do you know the "fake" riutung number and acct number didnt link him to someones actual acct ???

I have received several calls from this number, but they never say anything. I'll say hello about eight or nine times and then get hung up on. I hope someone decides to talk to me about this scam next time. I will have some fun with them.

Crazy! I could barely understand the dude so I acted like I didn't understand who he was asking for. He had a strong accent anyway and when he got frustrated with me, well, he was reeeeaaalll hard to understand then. I had him repeat my name a few times and still didn't let him know it was me. So I asked him who he was and he said (very quickly) that he'll call back another time. As he started to hang up I yelled "HEY!" about 5 times. When he got back on the phone, I blatantly told him that if he can't say who he is, he doesn't need to call back! He jabbered something else and all I caught was "wassington DC"...

I've begun putting these numbers in my contacts under 'DON'T ANSWER SCAMMERS' after they call once and hang up...

Received a call from this company saying I received a grant from federal government for $7000.  I'm thinking if a received a grant they would have just mail it to me.  Obviously a scam.  What worries me is that they already had my name, address, phone number , and age.

These people call several times a day. I can never understand them so I always end up either hanging up or being hung up on. Today was a woman I could understand so I listened to try and get to the bottom of this. She said the US government was trying to give me a $7000 grant. she gave me a call back number of 202 620 0554 and to ask for Johnny Snow. She already had my name, address, zip code. I didn't give her any information and I don't plan on calling back.

I say we spam the s*** out of them and see how they like it.

got 3 calls from this number today. Woman with a heavy oriental accent asks for me by name, then hangs up. WTF!

To whom it, may concern. Ive been getting, alot of calls from this number, listed above 6034574579. Whoever is calling, from this number, your an idiot, and a stupid person, that don't have, better things to do in his or, her life so you find, yourself calling people and annoying them. So what I don't get, I tried to call the number back, but the recording the operator comes, on and say the number is out of service. Well you idiot stop calling, I know that you can, hear me cussing your a** off.. you piece of shiitt..

This num call me 208-570-9525  after the 603 number I call back and it was a cricket wireless number and I thought they work for the goverment lol scam

Am glad I did research on this now I know what to do if they call back thanks guys.

Numerous calls from this number but no reply when I answer. ID shows Global Naps but that is false because they were a Voip provider that filed bankruptcy and all their numbers were recalled and reassigned to other carriers.  Appears from other comments it's a scam of some sort. Regardless it's frustrating to keep getting call after call.

This people have called me twice and I would like to know with who I need to talk so they can stop calling me.

3pm blank call will inter the number on my contacts AS "SCAM" so as not to waste my time answering.

Indian fellow named Frank called about 5:45pm and said he wanted to send me $7,000 because I had not been arrested etc... similar to other postings.  Initially said he wanted to direct deposit to my banking account or could send a visa debit card, then finally was talking about cash.  Was supposed to call Max W. back for my confirmation number.  I told him since he worked for the U.S. government he had all the records he would need to just send the cash to my address.  He already had my ph#, address, and name.  BUT, I had him so wound up by the end of five minutes he was cursing at me while i laughed uncontrollably at him.  Was the highlight of my day but still pissed these people cant be stopped from fishing for stupid people.

They told me the same thing...the government wants to give me a $7000 grant because I haven't done anything wrong (Don't have a criminal record etc)  I wouldn't even give him my name and he started becoming clearly aggravated. & sounded angry when I said this sounds like a scam and you need to give me information to prove otherwise before you know any of my information.

Got a call from this number, didn't answer, I was busy. No message, tried to call the number back but it says it can't be completed as dialed.

Total bull s***, Indian guy barely spoke English. Trying to offsr me $7,000 in federal pell grants that i never hace to repay,nor pay fees. Don't be fooled by these scammers. protect yourself.

Asian woman told me I was chosen for a $7000 grant from the US Government.  I told her is thought it was a scam and she just ignored me and demanded that I giver her my account information.  I hung up right away.  Do not give out any information!!!

Wanted to talk to my son I told her he was at work and I asked what did she want and she said  the fed. gov. had chosen him for a $7,000.00 grant  and didn't have to pay it back, I asked for the phone number so he could call her back but she said she would call back later.I went on line and found out that this is a scam so do not give out any info to these people. The name on my caller ID is AMEYO

has been calling pretty much every day for at least a week....I never answer but if I do I hang up immediately....SCAMMERS!

Heavy accented asian woman

This is another scam from foreign callers claiming to be from the "US Federal Government Grants Department."  They barely speak English.  There's about a 15 second delay between answering and when they respond, and they ask for your bank information or a western union wire of money in order to supposedly give you thousands of dollars from the federal government.  I block every number they call from, but they just get more numbers.  These calls haven't stopped since the US Government decided to allow cell phone numbers to be released the way landline numbers are.  My number is on the Do Not Call registry, and has been for months.  It has no effect on these calls whatsoever.

Had a middle eastern sounding woman tell me that because i pay my bills on time and have never had anything in collection or defaulted on a loan that I was gettting a 7000 dollar grant. I asked for a number to call back, she said that she would call me back if this was inconvienient?sp? I said it was strange that a goverment organization would have a legit opperation without a number to call back. at that point she hung up the phone.

This is a person claiming to work for the united states grants department. It is a fraud. They try to get your account info, so don't give it to them.
