then why do you guys who don't want to lose minutes on cell phones answer or call back numbers you don't recognize? Ever thought of using caller id to your advantage? If you do not recognize the number then IGNORE it! It wasn't important as they didn't leave you a message. Why must you feel connected to your phone 24/7? Status symbol perhaps?

missed the call. i called back but the number said disconnected.

This has to be a scam- It's all about my high  balance credit cards and a way to correct it-- I don't have a credit card balance!

got the following text from the above number:

i was in the shower and i got a missed call...i called them back and it said it was disconected. but while it was saying that someone started making noises...i dont think its normal to have a disconected caller and still be able to talk...(ghost)

got the same call--I just hit ignore. no message left, of course.

Same scam as everybody else. The number is working but has an answering machine on the return line with the "number disconnected message". The number is located in Clairmount NH.

This number along with other strange numbers call me everyday. I've gotten my number changed several times but apparently that doesn't change anything. This is so annoying.

Received this call on my cell but couldn't answer in time.  They didn't leave a message but annoying just the same now that I see the comments about this phone number. Glad I didn't answer or call them back.

I just got the call too ... let it ring as I didn't recognize the number ... they are persistent in finding suckers.  Guess the phone companies need to find a way to stop the spoofing

I received this call on my cell phone. It rang a few times. When I called back a operator said it wasnt a working number. What can people do to protect themselves from unwanted cell calls.

Automated Message talking about Health Care offers.  Kinda busy at the moment so I'm not gonna mess with it but often the automated system will send you to a management type (or a secretary type) by pressing zero.

5:54 pm, my cell phone rings and I check the id.  603-542-5395, I don't recognize the number so I wait for the the voicemail alert. A few minutes passed and I was still waiting. when I attepmted to return the call I was greeted by a recording relaying that the number was not in service.  I'm glad I "SEARCHED" the phone number.  Now I'm patiently waiting for their next call.

answered a call from this number and got a recording about public health care.....

I must be on some "list".  I am getting scam phone calls 3 or 4 times a day!  What the hell can I do?  I have a perfect credit score!

Just the silence that indicates an automated recorded message is starting, giving you a chance to hang up.

I missed the call and called back out of curiosity. The number is disconnected. They are able to mask their real number from caller ID and are spoofing another.

Missed a call to my cell phone from this number.  They left no message.

I just missed a call at work... a government office. they left no message.

Yeah, I just got this call too, didn't answer.  No message.  Sounds like I dodged a bullet here, eh?

Got the same call about 10 minutes ago.  I did not answer since I didn't recognize the number.  Glad I looked it up.

Same number, same story. They called & left message, we called back and he wanted info. We asked for his info and he said "just answer mY questions" very aggressively. We laughed and replied "we'll need your info first". He hung up.

We called back to speak to his supervisor and got a disconnect notice.

Called about cheap health insurance coverage. would not give a name, I called the number back and this number is disconnected !!!

They left a msg on my cell phone saying I could get on a health program for only $3 a day.

Yeah... Got a call from this number this morning at 10.40 and nobody/response from the other end.
Kinda weird though... Never bothered calling back after reading these internet opinions.
