we've only recieved 2 calls from this #, first we didn't answer, the next call came while I was making dinner and this is what happened:  Me, "Hello"  Her, "hahah jes betch yall cookin' or eating, haha, now dat wat I'm talking about, hahah"  Seriously, this is what she said!  If the call did't come thru as an Alstead NH call, I'd have thought it came from the south side of Chicago!  Currently, the ringer is off so we can't hear the phone ring and check the caller id now and again to make sure we didn't miss anything important.  Also, until the elections and resulting lawsuits are over, cell phones are blocking anyone that isn't programmed into them.

These calls are BS.  If it happened in person, at least the police could charge them wtih harrassment.

I just called the number  # 319-730-4000 and spoke to a nice lady... I played stupid told her the alstead number said they were afilated with this number. she took my number and put it on a master do not call list. I told her from 7a to 9p all day long Alstead calls. i blasted the last person that called from there. I am at the point I do not care wtf I say to them.. Voting is my business no one elses. but I also think we get from the alstead number a machine on Seniors we will see if this lady from IA really did put my number on a the Do not call list. time will tell.

Someone who apparently doesn't get that working 3rd shift means calling me at 10:30a to tell me your political views is a really bad idea. If I ever get these people's numbers I'm calling all of their houses at 3am repeatedly, and just spewing my thoughts on how I think political calls should be illegal since they are such a nuisance. I'm sure they will appreciate that since they love waking me up with their cold calls.

The DNC registry works quite well, within its scope. What did not work was your reading comprehension when you entered your numbers. This is the FTC FAQ page which the DNC site repeatedly invited you all to read before you registered your numbers. See items 28 through 32.

I am sick of these calls.  Why doesn't the Do Not Call Registry work?

Same as all of you... why can't they block this?  I get 3-4 calls a day... never anyone there, and never leave a message!!!

Caller kept calling. I texted them and asked who are you. I havent heard back since! These calls sometimes are 3 and 4 a day. With no message. I dont pick up when I have a no name on my phone!
These are harassment calls.

Caller called my cell 3 days in a row with no message. On day 3, a man answered "my name is Richard, and I am taking a public opinion survey."

Got a call each day 9/11 and 9/12. Added to black-list.

Oh, yeah, and if you happen to be in front of a computer when you ask all your questions about the identity of the survey organization, take your sweet time looking up and "verifying" the information. I think I will do this from now on, whenever I decide to answer these types of calls.

I answered this call after ignoring the number for days, and it was a political survey, asking who I was going to vote for.

When I asked what organization was conducting the survey, the man on the phone wouldn't (or couldn't) tell me. He said he thought the organization was based out of Georgia, but they were placing all their calls "out of NH." When I further pressed him about the name of the organization conducting the survey, he told me he was working for Thomas R. Cardella & Associates (contact # 319-730-4000; they are based in Cedar Rapids Iowa).

Thomas R. Cardella & Associates is a telemarketing company. I called them at the number above and asked the man who answered how I could find out who was conducting that survey, and he said he couldn't tell me, and that they are not required to give that information when they make the survey calls.

Isn't it interesting that political "robocalls" that deliver a recorded message are required by law to disclose their sponsoring organization, but live survey calls are not?

My advice to anyone else receiving these calls is to have some fun asking the survey conductor who is conducting the survey. For every question he/she asks don't answer, but instead  have one of your own: Who is the survey company? What is the purpose of the research? Who is funding the research? What will the research be used for? What other research has been done by this company before? etc. Or, if you feel like wasting money on a long distance call like silly me, you can call and see if you have any more luck than I did getting any info out of Thomas R. Cardella & Associates...

Keeps calling when I answer no one there!!! Several calls a day.

Calls a few times a week. Never leaves message. Caller ID says "Alstead, NH".

This number has called my house 1-2 times a day for the past 4 days. Leaves no message.
