They keep calling but leave no message. I recently changed my phone service so it could have something to do with the calls.

Calls keep coming in from this number on a business line. Asked them not to call - we are on the Do Not Call List. They keep calling several times a day.

left no message. I presume they are using a program to detect when people change from home answering machine to phone company answering service, or vice versa. If the program detects such a change, your number is forwarded to a fraudulent company who calls you and says they are just checking to see if your change of service is working satisfactorily. They imply they are your phone company, (who else would know you just changed your service?). They ask, "Are you the person to talk with regarding the phone service?" Don't say "Yes"~! They record your "Yes" and later play that back in response to questions you were never asked, like "Do you understand that this will result in a $50 per month fee being added to your phone bill?"
This happened to me and it took me 6 months to get the phone company to remove this "Cramming" charge. This fraudulent charge was by a company called ESBI based out of Texas.
