I definitely think they'd still be in business, there are a lot of stupid people out there... After they wasted their money on this timeshare crap, they sent money to the guy from Nigeria who sent them an email..
Do you work 4 the timeshare peeps?

So what exactly caused you to search for the phone number?  Sounds a bit fishy to me. If you just called back and everything was fine... , what was the questionable moment that made you google the number...

I also get calls from these people.  Never picked up.  They have tried different numbers: (603) 581-2729 and  (603) 581-2734.  Left several messages and they always say they have a package for me.  Since i didn't call back they tried a different number.  I filled out a form for a raffle at an auto-show.  Will never do that again.  It's a scam. Don't pick up!!

This number 6035812732 called me and said i put an entry form at the mall. I was out of town when that entry form was put so i told her not to call me and that i was going to report her to the better business bureau. She also tried to sell me time share. How the heck do i fill out a form in a state im not even located in, they think im an idiot.

Hello! I just received a similar offer (4 plane tickets instead of 2). Did you ever redeem your flights? Other than the $70 booking fee did you have to pay anything else? Thanks for the info!

You're a LIAR. No one you call was "selected" for anything, in the sense that word conveys. They were selected by your manager for you to call from the other 100s that will be called that night; selected for YOU pitch. They were NOT, in any way, a UNIQUE selection. Their only distinction was that they filled out the form. Anything beyond that is an attempt to DECEIVE, which is at the heart of this industry's practices.

Rubbish. They are calling because they are being pressure by people like you to shill in a few customers to hit the quota for the day or they don't get paid! They will be stuck with less money than what they would earn at McDonald's unless they can snare a few commissions from people who are lead to believe they are making out on this when, in fact, it is going to not only cost them a considerable amount of money, but more than if they just went on line and shopped for it themselves. Don't even attempt to refute that; if you could you would put that in writing, but you won't because you would go to jail. The truth is that the vast number of people who ever attend the pitch NEVER even redeem their 'vouchers,' because it is only when they start making arrangements that they discover what they've gotten themselves into: a money pit. The same goes for timeshare holders. The industry BANKS on the reality that (like Planet Fitness, and the like) holders will generally only use a fraction of their privileges and then just drop out completely.

As to DNC, people have no idea that the 'entry' is going to void their DNC listing, but that does not justify their being called 20 times! One 'rep' make stop calling them, but you still have 30 days before you are in violation, so the entry is just going to go to another rep who will hassle them too.

I worked for this company for some time and, although they are not authorized to explicitly lie to prospects, the entire pitch (inducement to buy timeshare) it worded carefully to convey the sense of actually profiting when, in fact, this is probably going to cost you a lot of money. The 'gifts' are not free, and you certainly haven't 'won' anything. You receive 'vouchers' for free travel but are required to purchase their accommodations which cost easily 2 or 3 times what you would pay if you spent 15 minutes shopping on Expedia/Priceline/Whathaveyou (and you only get 2 at a time, so you will have to pony up for your kids). They claim that it is more than made up by the fact that the travel is free, but the limitations are extraordinary: you will be flying red-eye and only to or from a limited number of cities and THEY will schedule you, no changes, for the days and times they decide (based on your input). You will not be leaving on the Monday your vacation starts, you may likely be leaving on Wednesday; and you will not be getting back on Saturday, more likely next Tuesday or Thursday, so your employer better be flexible with allowing you to change your vacation schedule, because you have to accommodate THEM, not the other way around. Incidentally, there are a vast number of packages available online which also include free travel, but the accommodations are a fraction of the price. Same for the 'free' weekend; you must pay the tax and any other expenses.

In short, your 'free' vacation (4 vouchers) will likely cost you anywhere from $2,000 to $6,000 dollars to use; and your 'free' weekend (sales tax + hotel tax x 3) will likely run you upwards of $100. None of that includes (at $3.50/gal) the gasoline to travel easily 100 miles to sit for the pitch (required) for up to 3 hours. So, calculate your time (your spouse MUST come) @, say, $10/hr., that's $60 for your time, plus 1-200 miles in driving (around a 1/2 tank, $20-$30), plus food, another $20. It cost you $100 to claim your right to spend another $100 to $6,000 to go on a trip you were lead to believe was 'free.'

The really crying shame is not the retirees and the like, who probably break even on trips they might want to go on anyway (and they're just looking for things to do), but the poor folks who can barely make ends meet and think they have really hit it only to be put in the situation to be severely burdened financially. That is just plain chicanery. By the way, if you are deaf, forget it. They will never let you collect anything because you can't reasonably be expected to fall for the sales pitch (you'd have to have it carefully provided for you in text and that would defeat the purpose of catching you on an emotional high; this business does NOT want people to THINK about what they're doing, just get excited and sign).

They are hardly the only business doing things like this; it's pretty common throughout business these days.

Me too. I entered in a sweepstakes for a car in a mall in NJ. The NH # called last week but didnt leave a msg. He just called now and didn't say I won the car but that I should call and he would go over all the details of the gift I won. AND he sounded very drunk. I wish I could post it. He was slurring his words.

Its not wyndham or innseasons calling you its a phone room in fort myers fl called global prospects. They treat their employees terrible and don't pay them on all their bonuses. Of u get a call from them tell them u are contacting the bbb and the AG. If that doesn't stop them they go by income so tell them u only make 30k a year right off the bat and they won't call u anymore. The positive posts on here are by the crazy people that actually like working there. They have this manager there named Lori and holy s*** she is a basket case and her daughter works there too shes 19 and has a kid that's like 2 and shes a druggie and doesnt even do her hair or brush her teeth shes sooo lazy. Its a disfunctional place to work and everyone that works there seems to be related. This company is a load of s*** dont believe a word they say. Go to the bbb website and complain on the company Global Prospects in fort myers Florida.

Sales rep called us up today said we won 4 tickets to anywhere in the world plus $100 dining card if we went to pick up the tickets from somewhere in PA within a few days. When I asked about having to stay a minimum # of nights at one of the their resorts, he said that it was true. The minimum requirement for staying "anywhere in the world" varies from 4-7 days. There is no free lunch ladies and gentlemen. None. Don't fall for it.

They have been calling us for quite awhile, several times a day.  Today they finally left a message, a very vague message.  So, I called back.  4 free planes tickets to Europe, Carribean, Hawaii, Vegas, and Californa.  I asked what the catch was.  Well, you have to go and pick the tickets at the one place.  the wilderness in Wi Dells.  Well, I am not going to drive 2+ hours to get those.  You have to listen to a timeshare.  I was almost intrigured, but they say you have to call 45 days in advance when you want to travel.  We are going to the Bahamas in 42 days, so we are passing on the deal.  Hopefully, they won't call anymore.

i got a call from 60-581-2730.  i was told i had won 4 airline tickets plus a resturant card.  i was already selected as a winner and these prizes were guaranteed.  however, when i stated that i was currently separated from my spouse, i was denied the opportunity to obtain my guaranteed prized.  i don't understand what the marital status has to do with winning prizes.  if i am not obligated to purchase a timeshare.

What I can tell you is that most of the people they hire are either recoving drug addicts, parolee's or overweight welfare cases.

The company collects their leads from events such as concerts and expo's. They call congradulating you that your entry was selected to recieve a package! WOW!!!!

Too bad that every entry filled out at the event was selected.

So I SHOULD FEEL LUCKY???? HAHAHAHAHA WHAT A CROCK OF S**T!!!!!!!!!

Oh and did I mention that theres a presenation?????

You'll usually find that the presentation involves very high-pressure sales tactics. Know that going in

mistakenly signed up at the Boston Bridal Show to "win a honeymoon", this time share company got my information, calling saying "I Won"--- I answered once and they told me they were from Inn Seasons Resort before I hung up--- which I googled and found nasty time share scam.  I've ignored their calls since, and have gotten several iterations on the 603-581-xxxx number

I am a supervisor for Innseason Resorts and I have worked for the company for over 8 years now.  If we are calling you it is because you entered at an event and we did select you for free gifts and they are at our front desk waiting to be claimed. Simple.

The people who are calling you are calling to 1) Go over the gifts with you 2) Schedual an appointment for you to pick your gifts up and tour 3) Give you directions and our telephone number to get to your appointment and 4) Give you everything in writing as a company guarantee. And if you are on the DNC list it does not matter when you fill out your entry form you are giving us permission to call you if we select you for a package.

We are a fairly new chain of hotels so we would hope people would consider returning for a night stay in the future or recommend us to friends and family.  The gifts are paid for and people are selected who enter, we give away various different gifts at many types of events. So if you get a call consider your self lucky.

I disagree with the majority of you guys.  Although i was skeptical at first, I took a tour because they did give me everything in writing guarranteeing me that there'd be no high pressure sales tactics and that id receive the gift for taking the time to learn about their company...I was pleasantly surprised to see that they followed through completely! I had a lovely time, they treated my wife and I very nice and I think i will return to one of there hotels if im ever in one of their areas.  I did receive the gifts for free, as promised, and will take a nice vacation that i wouldnt normally be able to take.  Thank you Inn Season.
