I've personally dealt with Gujarati "mafia". These people sound like they are Indian mafia. I'm half tempted to call a few people I know from Gujarat, who live in the US and run Motel businesses and get to the bottom of this.

You would think the feds could catch these thieves. They listened to GOV> Blago for two years. If I got one call this month I had three or four.. I read some where if you press #7 rapidly many times, it throws off their system and kicks out your number. I will try this next time.  Good luck!!!

Received a call from 603-659-9999 - automated voice saying that my credit card was deactivated due to a 3rd party usage. I hung up and contacted my credit company and asked them if an automated recording would contact me if there was illegal usage of my account number.  The answer was NO A live person will call you!!  Be Aware People-
Banks and Credit Card Companies will not ask you for your account information-  They already have it.  Do not give out this information to anyone!!!!

Received a call from this number claiming to be the Federal Credit Union and they had some fraudulent activity on my credit card. First of all, I don't have a credit card through the credit union and second, they just started asking for my 16 digit card number. SCAM!  SCAM!!

Just received a call from this number. Automated voice said it was from Federal Bank and that my card had been suspended due to apparent third-party use, press 1 to be transferred to our Security Dept. I just waited and didn't press anything. It repeated the message and then disconnected the call.

Called saying they were from Northshore Bank and that my account was frozen because they have reason to believe the account was accessed by a third party. Sounds like another scam trying to get personal bank info.

Phishing scam I think. Said there was a breach in security for my atm card with North Shore Bank. I do not have an account with them. Pressed one anyway to try to talk to someone, was prompted to enter my atm card number, checked bank customer service, they are not even open at this time of day.

I just got a call from 603-659-9999.  It was an automated message claiming to be from Associated Bank telling me that my account had been suspended because of attempted access by a third party.  They wanted me to contact their accounts division.

Here's the thing.  I have never had an account with Associated.

This number is a complete scam, and no one should give out any information to anyone calling from this number.

Got a call from these idiots (I'm sure they think otherwise) on my cell.....tried to return the call and got a busy signal (go figure).....when I tried to return the call from my home phone,  I had to endure more B.S. about some trip I won, without details as to how I should claim my prize, blah, blah, blah, blah,  it was never ending.....I really thought about about slitting my wrists.....I could never speak to a live person, I pressed every button on the phone's key pad in every possible order you could imagine and the "nails on a chalkboard" voice on the other end would not shut up and let me talk.....I finally hung up. What an a-hole company! I'm sure whatever they have to offer is a scam!

Just got this number and yep...some "Confirm which awards package you would like to receive!" scam.  Funny I thought to look it up since I don't usually answer unfamiliar numbers anyways, but was curious.  Hopefully they won't call back...
