I'm tired of these calls & reporting to The State Police is a good place to start, followed by notifying Amvets.com, who would probably be horrified upon learning this.  I, for one, plan to take every possible legal step to eliminate this problem, and the classless bozos behind it.

Keep getting calls from this number - yesterday a number of times - today, 12/13/11 at 7:36, 8:18 and 8:59 PM!  I'm supposed to be on a no call list!

They have been calling me on a regular basis everynight around 5:15 pm for a few weeks. No one is there and when you call it rings one, music plays for a second and then it hangs up.

I get it too. 821-9051 at least once a day. Most of the time I don't answer. I believe it is the Am. Vets. I donated once back in 2006/07 and now they won't leave me alone!

here we go again .saturday afternoon . 3pm phone rings local call 6038219051. rings 4x. i no longer answer any number i do not recognize nor any caller id which we pay about 10.00 a month for with ids that are bogus or that i do not recognize. this is absolutely ridiculous. the political circus hasn't even begun for the foolish election polls yet.

I'm on the do not call list but these people call me and won't let me hang up.
They are very aggresive looking for money for the am-vets

got calls from 603-821-9051 & no one was on the other end.  I called back & heard music for a second then was disconnected.  Who ARE these MORONS????
I'm going to contact the police, and the phone co.

If that doesn't work, trust me, I will hunt down the bozos.

These people call at least once every day.  They never leave a message and when we try to call back, it plays music for a couple of seconds and then has dead air.  Its annoying and we have a brand new number and already have a million spam calls all day long.

I just got a call from this number.  It said, "New Hampshire Caller".  I didn't answer, and they left no message.  (of course)

asked for my wife and said somtthing about vulcaneers and hung up

We have gotten the same call twice now.

I keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message and almost are never there(one time they asked if I wanted to make a donation, I said no, but they still kept calling) so today when they called, I waited until someone said hello, hello and then screamed as loud as I could into the phone!! LOL

Hopefully I won't hear from them again?

They called my # and said something that I couldn't understand. I called the # and heard music.

Got a call today from that number. May very well have for several days now but haven't been paying attention to the Local Call number coming in on caller ID. I've given to an AMVETS association the last 2 years. Not sure if it's the same one. Looking at my records it looks like they sent me mail in 2010 but it must have been via phone in 2009.

They are still up to their Scum Telemarketer tricks in May of 2011


Typically these scum telemarketers do not respect requests for removal from their call list.

I just got a call from them and they said they wanted to send me a sticker for veterans. I asked them if they had a web address I could look at and they gave me www.amvets.org. It seemed obvious this was an outside calling group though, I don't know if either of them are legit.

this number belongs to Conversent Communications of NH, LLC located in Bedford NH, they are a solicitation company

The group American Disabled Veterans is allegedly an authorized non- profit, BUT they are under investigation in both Ohio and Wisconsin for their inapporiate fundraising practices andalleged misuse of funds raised. It appears they have used the monies inappropriately and only about 10%, if that much, has gone to veterans organizations or services.

Reminder, the DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS DOES NOT USE THE TELEPHONE for fundraising.  THE DAV uses the mail ONLY.

While looking up this number the phone rings with this number id.  The foreign accented man said he was calling on behalf of 'AmVets'.

I received a call from this number and the caller would not answer.

10 AM Sat. 1/24/09           Did not answer, caller hung up on my answering machine.

Claimed to be a professional fund raiser calling on behalf of veterans.  Harrassed us and then hung up

Got a call from this number this morning at 8:15.  I let the machine pick up but no message was left and they hung up.  I was suspicious of the Call ID "name" which simply said "LOCAL CALL."

I received a call from this number about 7:30 PM and they hung up. When I tried to call back I got about 2 seconds of music then disconnected.

Got a call from this number as well. They hang up when you answer. If you call back you get 2 sec of music and then dead.
