Very pushy salesperson selling ads in VPD magazine. Who knows if it's legit or not but I had to hang up on the guy because he was freaking relentless.

I could hear what sounded like office chatter in the background and could hear someone handling the phone. I said hello and they hung up (good!). A search of telephone prefixes shows 143 doesn't exist. Be suspicious or let them leave a message.

Exactly the same experience when I said the owner is not available he any manager I said we don't want to talk he said I am from the police news will tomorrow and hang up.

It's a telemarketer claiming to be from "Vancouver Police News Magazine"
There's a few complaints with the VPD regarding them and the VPD lists them as a potential scam

Definitely telemarketer. Said "Can I please speak with the Owner or President of your company", got all stand-offish when I told him I couldn't put him through but I could take his info and pass it along.
