This "lower your credit card rate" keeps calling.  It's a scam!!  Bugger off!!

This number, along with another who called twice this evening, is to be avoided completely. i was fooled into giving my credit card numbers to Global Assist because they told me I would be thrown in jail if I didn't comply. Since I willingly gave my numbers, the credit card company was unable to reimburse me and they cleaned me out completely.  Don't tell them anything. I admit I was too gullible, but I just couldn't take the chance that they really would have me put behind bars.

was a recorded message but I like to hear more so I pressed 1 for an operator. Hi, so you would like to save blah blah percent on your credit card ? I said you know what you are doing is illegal right ? He said yes I know in Canada it is. So do you want to save on your credit card bill ? I said do you want the RCMP and OPP and every government agency I can think of to call you ?

For the last six months been getting a call from 604-255-1493 - pre recorded message saying that credit interests changes but not to worry...if you want to speak with a representative press one.    After six months of this s***, I finally press 1 and this foreign voice comes on and as soon as I started questioning why they keep calling - he hung up.   So I dialed the number again and it says it is not a valid number..............

They are spoofing the number. The number you see is not the number that they are calling from - I confirmed that it is disconnected. They gave two options when I answered, press 2 was top stop future calls and you press that and it says that is an invalid number. I pressed 1 to talk to an agent and told them I wanted the calls to stop and they hung up on me. In the past I answered and they said it was about my credit card - I asked which one and when they could not answer, I pointed out the abvious - if they were legit they would tell me which credit card instead of asking me which ones I have.

I called it back as it was good Friday the irreverent s****eads called on but it said out of service.

how do you know they are muslims? you can't tell by an accent.  They may be troglidites or romulens.

The way you stop it is to kill all the muslims, give the all some pork. Muslims are going to die today, because I am going to kill all of them if I receive another telemarketing call.

I am in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia I just received another call from this number, caller first said hello my name is Heather, I 've been getting this same call at least 3 times a week from this number. As soon as I hear her name I hang up. I blocked this number for some unknown reason they keep getting through, Other numbers from scammers I blocked they have never called back. Please is there something that can be done to get rid of these UNWANTED SCAMMERS?

unwanted calls from 604 255 1495. pressing #2 key does not work to be removed from the list (according to the recorded message) and one is therefore forced to press #1 to speak to a person during which the request to be removed from their list they hung up.

I just got a call from this number. female voice saying lower credit card rate.  It said press 1 to speak to agent.  I pressed 1 and let the phone right about 50 times before it was answered.  A guy with accent answered and said he represented visa/mc and told me I was pay more than 10% interest.  I said, 'take me off your calling list.'. The guy hung up.

Got a call from this number. Ita a Scam RCMP have articles warning the public, just google the number.

Got a call yesterday from this number about "credit card". Hang up.

Received yet another call from this number today, even though I've subscribed to the DNC list! What's the point??
One more scammer from India/Pakistan squatting on an out-of-service Canadian phone number. They offered to "reduce my interest payments on ANY credit card?" I just try and keep them on the line as long as I can in order to waste their money on calls.

I feel like Jesus feeding the large crowd with a fish and 5 loaves of bread whenever I get one of these calls. Maybe if I gave them my credit card numbers/PIN/ and any other personal information they want, they will feel fed and go away?

"Important message about your credit card" - at this point I hung up! ; ( sad these people can't get an honest job!!!

It's scamming parasites who need to get a real job!  By the soudns of it, the calls are coming from some third world country or just a bunch of desparate morons who know nothing else but how to make a living off of other people, like PARASITES and COCKROACHES, kind of like the rothschild fake jew scum destroying our world.

Wow with all these complaints about this number I am surprised not a single person would actually spend less than a buck to do a reverse call and finally find out who it is or even where exactly it is. All these complaints are nothing without someone doing something different. I guess I will find out who it is then.

Received a call few minutes ago.  Said it was my second notice to lower my credit card.  Hung up and will block their number

I recently purchased a whistle. When I get these calls, I string them along for awhile and then blow the whistle into the phone. I could care less if they suffer hearing loss. If they want to, they can sure me.

They called this morning at 10:09  AM.. They would not leave a message or identify themselves. I agree with Scot Canadian about CRTC.

Just got a call showing caller id as 6042551493 and the number it came from shows 778-886-2441 both numbers are listed on this site, the 778 number shows up as some sort of collection agency scam.

I never answered, but the 604 number has called before, but I always check the number online before I answer,

i rec'd a call with a recording by a female voice talking about "interest rates"  and "no obligation" from what i recall.  I went with it to remove my name from their list? the call was transfered and a live east asian man answered and i said "how do i remove my name from your call list"  and he paused then hung up.

I reported this unwanted, annoying number last week.  I am on the no call list.  Quit calling me.
