Nous aussi, nous nous faisons harceler par ce numero de vancouver 604 298 4429.  Il s'agit d'une harnaque des plus douteuse.  Ils nous appellent depuis une semaine à tous les soirs, voire même plusieurs fois par soir.  Après leurs avoir fait comprendre que nous étions pas intéressé et que s'ils persistaient nous irions à la police, la personne au bout du fil s'est moqué de la chose et a dit qu'elle continuerait à nous appeler, encore et encore et encore... oufff... Il est possible de faire barrer le numéro directement par le service de téléphonie mais il y a un coût élevé qui est facturé à chaque mois;  il faut alors déposer une plainte au service de police pour forcer la compagnie de téléphone à empêcher ces gens de nous appeler.  Je vous encourage donc tous à faire de même afin d'initier une enquête criminelle et de stopper définitivement ces enmerdeurs.

Knew when I made prior payments on my card... the dates and amounts to the cent ! Pretty scary the world we live in. Beware everyone out there !!! This guy is a first class con man.

I got a call from this#and have no idea why

I caught my mentally challenged daughter on the phone with my credit card in hand reading the numbers out to someone on the phone, I grabbed the phone and hung it up. My daughter only said that it was a nice lady who wanted to help lower my payments. Thirty seconds later the phone rang and it was the same woman, asking why I had hung up, I went on to tell her that I knew this was a scam and that she was trying to steal my credit info from a mentally challenged person.  I asked her how she sleeps at night knowing she is robbing money from innocent people, that's when we got into a shouting match, where she hung up on me calling me a stupid bi*** and many other disgusting names.

Any information....any suggestions...any way to get this organization from calling my line again is greatly welcomed and more than appreciated.

Just got this call about my credit card - told them it was harassement - and that I would call local police and they would put trace on calls....they closed the line.  Maybe I did the right thing....

Just got a call from these guys. No name listed, just their number. The guy kept asking me for my 16 digit card number (like im going to fall for that one), so I told him if he is associated with my bank, that he can easily look up my number on my card and tell it to me. And then I can verify that is my card. He refused. Kept him on the phone for at least 15 minutes.

Wasting the card service scammers time with false information, as described in many posts, did a good job for me in stopping their calls--try it.

I am receiveing a call from this number on a daily basis up to three times per day. When I try to identify them, they break the connection. I have tried to call them back but the call will not go through. Does anyone out there have any idea how to put a stop to this?

I have registered a complaint with the RCMP in my jurisdiction. I tried to use all the call blocking services I could find but they are unable to block the number. The company that manages the block of VOIP lines is Iristel Inc. Lowering credit card debt, all the usual crap. Will report back when I know more

No message - when I call back it's a strange beeping sound as though this is not a functioning number.

The callers were the drug-addicted "card services'' scammers, who are as reported, are mainly drug addicts and felons, hired to rip people off by fooling them into revealing their credit card numbers. No need to be frightened of these lowlifes, as long as you don't give them your credit card number. Beware of these scum, and warn others before they are cheated! You can tell by the way they speak they are not normal people.

Do not talk with these people at all because they collect information you don't realize you give them, instead call the anti fraud department that is the RCMP and local provincial police is applicable. Do write down what they say, if its an automated or generated call or anything else that might be useful to stop these people. You may also call your federal, state or provincial senator, MP or MPP's or send in a written complaint either by mail or email.

If you do this each time it will raise awareness that this needs to be addressed and stopped otherwise it will as it is get far worse!

This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of  VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

Third call to-day, even though each time they say this is your last chance. Actually, this was my 27th last chance. It is clearly a scam!  I have seen some claim that the company is in Arizona, but from the accents I think they are calling from India. I know that they are not calling from the spoofed number that comes on call display. On one occasion when call display showed a Vancouver number I led them along and when I hung up the same man called me back from a Northern Saskatchewan spoofed number. When my wife spoke to him, he said F*** Off B****. Some have reported that if they get your credit card number they immediately make acharge of between $1700 and $2100.

Bull.... calls from these people originate from a collection agency, known for illegal collection attempts, and excessive phone harassment. This group of scum bags call themselves  a.r.c.   (accounts recovery corporation). These lowlife harassed me until I sent them a letter demanding all calls stop.  Ironically, all "unknown" calls stopped. I receiced a call from 604.298.4429 at 2PM today,   when I called back, a recording said "not in service".   If this number is calling you, it comes from the scumbags at arc.
Write to them, demand they stop.

Always getting calls from them. Tried to get info from them, but they just say its card services and they want to lower interest. When I ask which card they are asking about, they want the expiration date or 1 800 number on back. I ask them what my name is and address, they have it. They also offer to tell me the balance, and last payment I made. That scares me. They told me which card I had. So now, who do we contact to get this to stop? Why do these scammers have this info? Everyone looks this up, writes a post, but who's doing anything about this?

604-298-4429 has called me twice a week or the past two weeks , when I redial I get the number doesn't exist, I did look it up and it's from MB. Hope the fraud squad gets these a***oles.

Received two calls today from this number (according to call display) regarding lower interest rates. The first call I did not pick up. Later my answering machine recorded the call as having originated from 866 827 3752. Canada411 has no listing for either number.

I am really tired of getting calls from this number, i googled it the first time they called and havent answered any of the calls but they continue to call..grrrrrrr
Wish there was something that could be done, cant the service provider be contacted and close their account down when they are fraudulent ..i am so dobe witn these freaks

Too noise - buzzing

A guy called about loering my interest rate on a credit card I do not have and when I stated that he continued to asked me eye, hair color, single, married? If I was skinny or fat and whated me to marry him. Insisted on being my friend and want ing to meet me. Scarey s***!

Can police or any organization with authority go after these guys and find them? I don't think finding them would be so hard. They can easily track the calls.

I connected with them and ask them to remove my number and they said "NO"
