Just got a call from this number. A guy with a heavy south asian acceant asked me how I'm doing. I told him that's probably the last thing he wants to know and asked him for the reason of his call. I could barely understand him. He mentionned something about Internet Service. Then I blew the whistle which I have beside the phone for this kind of calls and hung up. It's a scam. Don't do anything what he wants you to do. Just hang up.

Oh my!!! I just got a call from this same guy taking me through the same steps. I stopped the process exactly at the same step as you. Asked for his number (same he gave you) and when he said his name was Steve, I knew this was truly and unmistakably a fraud! You mean Pakistanian Steve? Come on! I said I'd call him back after checking his site (nonexistent) and company info (Internet Server Management) - also nonexistent but he called me right back after 2 minutes giving me heck for making him wait! What?? I called my husband with the info and he called the guy at the 604-302-8800 number warning him to get lost! Holy crap that's scary stuff! To think he could have accessed all my info had I succumbed to his lies about the whole Trojan Virus crap! Gotta be careful... all the time!

SCAM, be careful.
Got a phone call tonight (7pm, 9 april 2013). He was lucky i speak also English (being in Quebec) The man had a thik Pakistan/India accent, but said his name was Fidel Rodriguez phoning from British Colombia.
He said he received information that my computer was infected with a Trojan Virus...he them proceeded to guide me step-by-step to my own computer management, for me to see the warnings and alets (normal). I guess it's to make you nervous. He then asks me to go to his site www.es365.tk (i did not go) i 100% braked from that point...asked him what the company name was...the line, and india accent made it impossible to understand. Asked him why i should go there. He said his server would help me get rid of the Trojan Virus. (Yeah right....he wanted to take control of my computer....i'm ok with computers and my brother is a computer genius...i double-checked with him)
i asked at what number i could phone him back...he said: 888-654-8823.....my brother looked it up and tried it....nobody hooked up.
Since he said he was originally from Mexico...i started speaking the little Spanigh i know......he hung up.
