IPFAX keeps changing there number and calling Fax to voice line. Have complained to the CRTC several times but they still sending me Fax's

I called this particular company that has sent there unwanted fax six times in one day.  When you phone them to request that they stop sending faxes as their faxing is creating a problem with your own machine their response is that the problem is with your machine.

Have filed a complaint against them with the CRTC. Have also blocked their number.

This number keeps calling me and it's a fax machine. how do I get my number removed from their calling list

This number has called me twice in the past half hour. Shows up as IPFax.

My message to whoever's calling: DROP DEAD!

Sick of that number showing up on my home phone.  Wish they would re program their fax.

Called the 16044668794 number and told them that I've been receiving calls for over a year now, the lady apologized and said my number must have been a business fax number once upon a time and said she'll take care of it for me. Hopefully she does. Took all of 2 minutes to call though!

My family and I have received these aggravating calls for a very long time. Even being awakened from sleep. All there is is an annoying beep when we pick up the phone. And worse! My phone, which is also a fax, gets disconnected from the landline signal. Then we cannot call out. I figured out that if I unplug my machine and wait a few seconds and then plug it back in it will work again. If I hadn't figured this out, I would have no way to phone out, as this is our only phone. My 80 year old mom lives with me and forgets that she needs to unplug the phone after this Imperial Data Supply company has called. The fax can beep all day! It drives her crazy. I cannot imagine why or how any company can get away with this harrassment legally, but maybe if we all start to call the police something will be done. Their phone number is:604-466-8794. Even their toll free number cannot be reached from Vanvouver Island, and their business is apparently in Maple Ridge, near Vancouver. Makes me wonder what is REALLY going on.

I found a website that's all about this kind of thing. It's one of many. Seems to explain the basic idea of what it's all about. Too bad it doesn't explain how to get them to stop call me.

Imperial Data Supply Corporation, phone (604) 466 8754, toll free 1 866 466 8784, e-mail: sales@imperialdata.com - that's the company sending faxes around. They probably want to sell you toner or fax paper.
Bombard their 800 number using your redial button every few seconds for a whole day. I'm sure they will cancel your number!

The number is actually Imperials fax #, its right under their store # on the website and is why you cant call it back (because its a fax #). They just use IPFax for their fax service to send out high volumes of advertising, so theres no point in trying to contact them via IPFax. Everything is traceable.

I just got a fax call from them this morning, looked up the number and after reading all this I called the company and simply told them I got a fax but I dont have a fax machine and they took my # and said theyd take me off their list. Pretty simple solution, hope it woeks... unless you haved a fax machine then.. good luck.

This is a business number!!  These unwanted calls disrupt my business!!  They need to stop

I don't think IPFax has anything to do with IMPERIAL DATA SUPPLY CORP.
IPFax is an 'Internet' fax service (It uses something like Skype or Vonage) and the number that shows up is not a number that you can call back to.
It's bad luck on IMPERIAL DATA SUPPLY CORP's part to have a voice number 1 digit removed from this.

Of course, many people writing here haven't bothered to read any of the messages so they won't read this either.

Anyway, it could be anyone, anywhere in the world, trying to spam via fax.

If you ever get calls from Skype users or GoogleTalk or similar services you'll see that the same number always shows up and doesn't really help you to know who is calling.

These are faxes sent from Imperial Data Supply in British Columbia.  They are sending out flyers to drum up customers for ink toners, etc.  Fax them back and tell them to take you off their phone list, or if you don't have a fax machine, there is a phone number listed of 604-466-8794.  Maybe that will help.  Maybe eventually they will get the message!!

You've been getting these calls for 2 months...I've been getting them for 5 years....complaining to the CRTC doesn't seem to get very far....I would take matters into a different area but they put people in jail for that.

i do not appreciate these ipfax calls n get a beeping sound.  why bother people with unnecessarily calls?  i demand a stop to these unwanted calls!!!

I have telephoned the company and sent an email, like the others here, I have been receiving these faxes to my home phone for 3 months and I am so sick of it.  I told them to either remove my phone number or expect charges for harassment to be filed!

I get these calls and they are extremely annoying. I don't understand why they are trying to fax my house number!

Hi Rick- what number did you call to IP Fax Company? I can't seem to get a person on the line- just another fax beep when you call the number back from call display- Would appreciate it if I could get this number from you- they are calling at least three times a day!

I just called this business from the information provided above from "fed up." I told them they were faxing to a land line and that I would like them to stop. The woman on the phone took my phone number and said she would take it off the list without asking to confirm what our actual fax number is. I'm interested to know if this will actually stop the calls.

I too have been getting these ridiculously annoying calls and I am sick and tired of it. Every time they call to regardless of if I pick it up because I do they still call back again! My line is a PHONELINE not a FAX MACHINE! If they think they have the right to call constantly and bug us than we have the right to voice our opinions about them. We pay for our phonelines therefore if we don't want them calling OUR PHONELINES than we should be able to do something about it! This is just ridiculous this should be considered harassment !!!! If they call me one more time I am calling my phone provider to complain further on this I am done with this CHILDISH B.S they think is okay!

Got my usual Fax call this a,m,  I called their office and spoke to a very polite young lady.  I  politely   informed her that I do not have a fax machine and she said  "I'm sorry, we  can't have that now can we, I will remove your number immediatly"  she asked for my number and I told her  We will see if she was sincere,

You've only been getting call from these guys for 2 months, I've been getting them for almost 7 years! They seem to be trying to keep one or two steps ahead of either the FCC or the CRTC (which isn't all that hard) by always sending faxes from different numbers so when the agencies responsible for enforcing the DO NOT CALL legislation go after one number, they already have another one ready to go. It's just like spam for you e-mail. You block one address and they send it from another. It's too bad our phone can't send these kind of calls through a spam filter.
