Had a similar call but listed as a private caller. A little weird considering it was for a survey. Answers the survey and guess what my name was selected for the daily draw. I said I wasn't interested and was immediately hung up on. Very fishy to me. Same survey as the previous people but the company is "health tech" they say they are in Vancouver.

Exact same thing happened to me, I chose the slap chop! I had to cancel they did call back, but I did not answer. I'm just waiting to get the call again to let them really know what i think of them......
Scamming B*****ds!!!!

They are a persistant bunch of scammers. When I told them I did not have time to do their survey on the first call, I then received a couple of calls every day that I did not pick up. After a week I decided to see what they had to say. When I asked them who would like to speak to joe ,they promptly and ignorantly hung up. Omit the 1 to call back to let phone ring back to someone who eventually gets tired of noise and picks it up and rehangs it.Please  call back many times and drive them crazy tying up their phone so the can't scam any one else. NAME     " AIR TEK " May show up on your phone.

After my message of Dec 16, felt I need to let you know that they called back this morning wondering if I wanted to change my appointment.  Was very surprised but told them I wanted to cancel it and they said  "OK" .  I was very relieved.  They don't answer when you call but they called back two days later.

Same thing happened to me.  I am silly enough to make an appointment for the sales rep to come over tomorrow evening.  What should I do now?  Any suggestion?

Same as messages above.  Tried to call back and no one answers.  Despite their telling me gas is expensive and I need to keep the appointment - they can keep their slap-chop!  I am not interested in  some high pressured sales pich on an air purifier.

got the same call, i called them back at least 50 times, the phone would ring forever then someone would pick it up and hang up,,, then it went busy, no one ever answered and said hello just answered to hang up ,  i called them all day, kind of to drive them nuts a bit ... i bet the ringing of the phone all day long was driving them crazy lol, ,,my father was not thinking about fraud, he really thought that he may have won something so he gave them his address and set up a time for someone to come over and give him some kind of presentation, more likley so they could case the house so they could rob it later,,,, do you have a dog, does your husband work away from home, questions like that is what they were asking. silly people, well there is no dog but there is a very protective daughter here lol..well i wanted for them to show up the next day at the time my father set up their app , so i called the local police station and had a rcmp officer waiting in my yard at 10 am the day of the meeeting,,,,,,,,,, barrhead alberta is not goin to be a easy place for them to target.. ....... so if they call make the app and have the cops at your house waiting for them to arrest the fradulent persons that knock at your door !!

Got a call from 604-520-3048 - apparently my wife won a daily draw - she participated in a so called survey regarding air quality a few days ago.  She was offered three gifts - a car cleaning kit of some sort, a three days vacation in the interior (valid for one year) or a chopper set.  She chose the vacation and offered to pick it up from the office - offer immediately decline.  The caller said that a staff member will personally deliver the gift to our house and provide a short demonstration of their product with no obligations to purchase.  We set an appointment. I did some research - it appears that everyone who did the survey wins!!!!  This survey is a scam to get a salesperson into a residence to then pressure a household to purchase an overpriced product.  The number is unlisted and they do not tell consumers the name of the business other than to say that they sell air filters. I called the number back to cancel the appointment but could not get through (phone disconnected each time). CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!

Although I don't usually participate in surveys, I did answer the questions because the woman steamrolled right into them without giving me a chance to decline.  

When another rep called me back the following week to offer me a free gift and I thanked her but said I didn't want one, she said I was being "weird" and abruptly hung up on me.  Sounds like a scam to me.

I got an unsolicited call to answer a survey about air quality (which asked if I had a pet, worked outside the home, whether my husband worked outside of home, but nothing to ask if the air quality was good or not), followed a few days later by a call from 604-520-3048 saying that I could choose from three different prize packages, given in great detail, as I'd won the daily draw.  The woman said she was from Air Teck (spelling?) based in Coquitlam.  When I expressed my concern that this was a scam, she responded hesitantly (like she was looking up on a script how to respond), saying that they wanted a chance to promote their product.  The thinking being that we'd spread the word to advertise for them to friends.  There were sounds of other calls in the background.  I declined.
