Got calls from this number but no message left.

Russian-speaking spammers for the benefit of yet another long distance calls provider. Their ID is the same as their number.

they go by the last name. they guess and keep calling everytime someone different until they figure out your native tongue. is this a spy agency or calling card company?

the freak hung up on me as soon as i told hime my native language.

I pick up the phone and try to keep them on the line has long as I can, It is so funny, I ask where they are calling from and what the weather is like there, How old they are if they hav been there long, if they hav got a spouse what they do on the weekends if they miss their famliy, if they go on vacation and where they go.  I hold them on the line as long as I can  it's their bill.  lol

Je pense que c'est Just Dial Group  (Long Distance Communications Company) de Vancouver qui téléphone. On peut changer son numéro (521-1545), mais on ne peut pas changer son area code (604).

Ils ont parlé en Russe. Ils trouvent des noms qui ressemblent aux russes noms sur le site canada411 et y téléphonent. Moi, je suis russe, mais je toujours réponds en français. Ils ne sont pas capables de répondre en français. ils raccrochent.

first they talk to me in Italian, I told them I do not speak Italian but I speak a different language. They hang up and call me the next day and this time they speak my language.
please be very careful. They will try to teak card information or your identity

just got  a call from a guy who said he is from romania.
and he lost he mom and needs money beware.....

By the way they are not Romanian or Russian. They can speak almost every language as they we able to speak my mother tongue too.

Annoying calls need to stop. Please stop these people from mass calling.

The reason they think you are romanian is either because
1) you are
2) you have a romanian last name
3) you have a spouse or family member with a romanian last name
4) you have a last name that sounds romanian - i.e: ends with a "u"
such as: dominescu, bogdanescu...you get the picture
5) a romanian had your phone number before so they have that on file
6) none of the above -they are simpletons

if they call and you wish to try to talk sense into them, pick up and ask them to tell you what your last name is.  That is the key - the last name.

also and want to sell you long distance phone plans.  I know because I speak
romanian although I am not romanian.  They have been calling my house for the past few months (probably around 15 times) and it is always someone different.
They do not erase your name, either out of spite for having failed or because they are simpletons, but when you see this number, don't pick up, or pick up and tell them the following: pizda moti (pronounced pees-da-mo-tee)and hang up.
They will get the message!

we (in texas) have received 2 calls from the number in the past week- no one is ever there when we pick up

Here is some more information about this "company", which has nothing to do with Telus (a bona fide phone company in B.C.)--I hired a detective to find a real name associated with this number and he came up empty-handed--i.e. it is a "phantom number" listed to a company, and cannot be traced.  (i.e. apparently companies do not have to be held accountable for harassment).  However, this number can still be *57'd which will register the call with your phone company in both the U.S. and Canada. (And you should keep a log of what was said).  For the person that was phoned 15 times, this is definetly some sort of harassment, and it is good to know about *57.  Also, one person was told to f*** off, and this is obviously some sort of harassment as well.  The phone company will then instruct you as to how to proceed from there.

Unsolicited callers speaking variety of languages and capable to understand English.

A female voice responded in Russian to my "Good Evening" in English, did not bother to apologize for an uncolicited intrusion, and very assertively asked who is my long distance provider and how much long distance do I call and to what destinations.

I had to tell her twice "I would like to be removed from all your lists", and she sounded as if she was surprised to hear that, though she definitely understood.

After doublechecking that she understood me, I stopped the call, because otherwise she would not let me go.

They are a carpet cleaning and furnace cleaining company?! Well why would they call us all the way in united states?!

My mom's message up there,i had picked up the phone. You couldn't understand. And angelica they ARE definitely violating a law. He was not selling anything,that i could understand. He was a b*****d. **** THE CALLERS?!?!

A unknown male caller used my first name but didn't give me his. Whoever said it was Russian, i think you're right! But this guy was talking in Spanish unintelligibly. i speak fluent Spanish and i couldn't understand him at all! Get this idiot to STOP FRIKIN CALLING US!!!!!

They do the same to us.  My husband has a Romanian last name and they keep calling - from this number and others - asking if we speak Romanian and whether we call Romania.  We have told them it's just a last name, nobody at our house speaks the language and we have no family there.  End of story.  Stop calling us.  This has been going on for YEARS now.  They don't give up.  They have never called us in any other language but I guess it's because the phone's registered in my husband's name which happens to be of Romanian origin.
