I received a voicemail from this number
"Hello this is Marissa from Telus Communications. Calling about your request for Optic Television with an Xbox. We need to know if you are using a credit card like, Visa, Master Card or American Express. We would like to confirm installation for you. Please return call at 310-2255

comes up on call display as Telus Comm Inc (Telus says they have no such #! They call asking you to update there personel info.

I called about getting an 800 # - I believe it is Telus calling back as "Track" noted above.

got the same call on my landline then after ignoring it, the same number called my cell phone. i dont pick it up because it is a scam. thay also don't bother to leave a message so it can't be that important ;)

I keep getting calls from this number as well. seems to be a scam of sorts.

This past Sunday I had a very suspicious text message from "-" (no number) that said that the nokia phone I am using has been reported stolen and that I am being monitored "by the authorities." Not only was I using my own phone, but the phone is an LG. As soon as I read the message, this number called and said they were from Telus. The man didn't give me a name, and when I told him that I have an LG phone he said I need to take the phone to a store. I couldn't really understand what he was saying so I asked to speak to his manager. He put me on hold, and there was no music. After a few moments I looked at my phone and I had been disconnected. I dialed 611 to call Telus and they told me that had no record of anyone calling my phone! They told me that if it happens again I should get a name. I tried to call the number back and it says it is not in service. Something is definitely fishy with this number. Avoid it!

I have had this number call me a few times... and keep says it Telus... i have have stopped picking it up and they are still calling......
