These guys just called and asked if my husband was home.  (by name also)  I said, "No. Can I take a message?"  She said, "No.  That's okay."  Then she quickly hung up.  So I'm a little worried too.  I thought either my husband is having an affair or someone is spying on us, just like you said.  Who would call, ask if my husband's home and then hang up?  If this is a business, they seriously need to learn some telephone manners. This is just creepy, and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so.  Glad I'm not alone on this one.

If you call in to the office I can remove your number. It is impossible for me to stop the calls if I don't know what the number to be removed is. You can call our main line 604-568-9044.If we were not a real company we would not be in the phone book as Best Heating and also if it was a scam we would hardly be responding to these few complaints.

If you are not willing to tell us which number to stop calling then there isn't anythingt I can do to help you

Sorry "Sue@Best Heating" I still don't believe you.You could be anybody.Since I'm getting calls from this company 2-3 times a day and no msg.,I don't believe you're a real business just a bunch of scammers.

We are not a marketing company or a scam. We are a small business with a call center in Burnaby.

However, we are using a new phone system and on discovery of this thread I realize that it is not working properly. The caller display should always show our phone number and once removed from our list you should never receive a call again. If you do not provide a phone number then it is impossible for me to remove you from our database. If you asked one of our agents to remove you and still received a call later then this means they made a mistake and did not code you as a Do Not Call. If this is the case please call our office on 604-568-9044 or 604-524-8886 or e-mail info@bestheating.ca and ask to speak to Sue. I will make sure you receive no further calls and also deal with the telemarketer who failed to remove you from our list.

I will now contact our phone system provider to deal with the caller ID and repetitive calls issue!

If these jerks call you (and they will, that's why you're here), send them an email (from a disposable email address) to info@bestheating.ca but do NOT give them your phone #. Just say "stop calling me, take me off your list, etc."

They'll ask you "please provide your # so we can take you off our list." Do NOT do so as that just allows them to confirm that your # is valid AND they can correlate your # with your email address. It's a big marketing scam.

Just tell them you're not happy about their spam and you'll do whatever to shut them up. Call the BBB if you have to, though they might not do anything.

Idiots keep calling my cell even though I told them I don't even have a gas line. 2 months ago they said "sorry, we'll take you off our list." Yeah right.

I don't want their services even if I did have gas. I'd rather use Beano.

It called everyday & a lady asked to speak to me or my husband (our name). Everytime I asked where is she calling from. Then dead air! Caller ID showed V and then many numbers after. Very fishy!!! Everyone be caution! I think this kind of phone call is checking if there is anyone in the house & they are targeting to break in!

just got a call from 6045248886 a minute ago. i picked up and there was nothing except for that scratchy air sound on phones sometimes then there was a faint "hello" then dead silence. the ID said V12141813430004...

Telemarketers from company name Best Heating. The problem is that when you tel them that they are calling to residents of a building that do not even have a gas heating system, they still keep calling. Stupid!!!

Irriating calls more than once a day and all you get is dead air until an automated message just says "goodbye" The id that comes up is always different but it starts with V0 and a dozen numbers.  Very frustrating!!
