This number called me at 730 this morning, sunday september 21st and hung up when I answered. I tried to call back but it say its disconnected...

Hey i received 2 phone calls back to back the first came from 604-630-0300 at 10:10pm, i missed both calls the second came few minutes after but was a blocked number.

lot of cibc things going on with this number...

I got a call today form this number, did all of you gave your details to CIBC?, I did, if these calls are not from an official CIBC office, how do they get out numbers?? CIBC seems to have some privacy issues on our data, that's scary.

got a call from this number at 6:41 pm, i did not answer. thanks to this site now i know it's a scam

I got a call from 604-630-0300 Oct 15, 2008 at 10:30pm.  I answered and said hello and there was no one there.   I called it back and it said the number was disconnected and then it kept ringing and ringing.

Definite scam!

called several times and left no message over the last few weeks. Ive got a few weird calls suggesting they were CIBC bank...i think this may be another try to steal information.
i tried to call back and it states the number you are calling is not in service

I had a call from this number at 7:58pm, Tuesday 30th September. When I called back the message said the number had been disconnected.

Got a call from this number this morning Sep. 25 9:30.  No one answered when I picked up. I guess my voice didn't sound like the type he wanted to scam today.

yes. it's a virtual number as skype users don't have to have an actual number.

skype is used to called internationally from your computer for extremely cheap rates. it is not associated with a single user. and cannot be called back.

this number seems to be what can come up if someone calls you from a skype account.

if you don't have a skype account yourself. then. i dunno. but that's what came up when my son called me and that isn't even close to his number. not even the right area code. but he called me from skype. to my digital phone. which i have connected to skype if i'm not online.

I got a call at 11:30 at night from some incoherent Jack*** who said was responding my Craigslist ad advertising a cheap 10$ kids bike thinking we would ship it to San Franciso from Vancouver BC!. I called him insane and hung up.
It had this call display number 604-630-0300

Received phone call 12:30 noon, Sept 1/08 aking if we had a mortgage.. we said it didn't expire for 2 more years and hung up..I called back within a minute to see which Mortgage Broker had called and found that the number was dis-connected/unavailable.... Called the RCMP who were as usless as tits on a bull.. totally un-interested... Called Shaw digital  operator who put us onto this google site, and found it  is a fraudulent number involved with scamming..

This mother F...er call me at 7:40AM, just say hello and hang up.

Ya this fellow call, as usual phone rings, pick up & other phone rings & guy came on phone. I ask him telemarketing? He answered "so" told him to take my name/phone out & he replied "why" & hung up. Have call display & call 604-630-0300 came back as not in service?????

I just received two calls one from 604-630-0300 and just before that from 604-638-5789 - no messages.  Thought I would google and this is what comes up.  These numbers need to be stopped.

I just got a call at this moment, called back but no one reply...Im glad I found this site coz I was expecting a call from the Dr if he had bad news, so I know is no Dr. relief!

I got a call at 6:08PM Saturday and the person hung up. I called back and no one picked up. So I expect someone to call back from a blocked id. Googled the number and got on this site..... thought I should document this....

604-630-0300 Beware this number..Calling me so often but this caller has no luck...Don't entertain phone number which you don't know. Scammers are just around the bench!!!

604-630-0300 is a fake CIBC phone number for banking fraud! Do not believe the caller, and do not provide any personal info.

Yup, definitely a scammer. They just called me and in a quivering voice said they were CIBC and wanted to "review my banking" with me.

I recieved a call from this number also, and I called it back , a chinese guy answered from City Centre Motel @ 6th & Main, in Vancouver,
Someone is obviously running a scam and forwarding their number to here.
Could be a corrupt employee or another scumbag with bad enough credit to not be able to get a real hotel. This motel , unlike all others in this city , does not require a credit card to stay there, it is popular with lowlifes, drug addicts and w***es.    HOPE THIS HELPS

I got a call from 604 630-0300, and he said he was a staff from ISS ( a wellknown non-profit organization dealing with new immigrants), and was doing a survey for ISS, and then started to ask lots of questions about financial investments.

I also got call from 604-630-0300 at 4AM today, reported to CIBC. Phone # seems disconnected.

I got a call from this number on July 29, 2008.  The man told me his name and said he was from CIBC and wanted to verify some information about my file.  He refused to tell me what the issue was about until I told him my birthdate.  I told him that I can't confirm he's from CIBC because the caller ID said "unknown caller".  He said that it's a 1-800 number and he couldn't tell me anything about my file until I tell him my birthdate.  I told him to contact me by mail if it's really a concern.  He told me he'll call me back today but I haven't heard from him yet.  I called CIBC customer service and it is definitely NOT them calling me.  Beware, beware!

i just got a call today, but i dont pick up calls from phone nos.(TN) that i don't know.  Hey...if it's important - they'd leave a message right?  

I Googled the TN and found this site.  Next time the same TN calls me, and someone answers - like a "CIBC rep"...oh I'll sure to have fun with them!

My mother got this at 18:40 thursday, which was not the usual office hour. A lady said she wanted to talk to me, I don't know how did she get my name. Once she heard I was not home she hangup. After 20 min I was home and I tried to call back, no answers, no auto voicemail not even say this is CIBC and please call at office hours.

I got a call from this number and I was not at home. My wife told him that I will be backed in 5 minutes. My wife asked what's the call for, but he hanged up.  I called the number back when I came back but nobody was picking up. After I hanged, he called again and asked for my e-mail address.

I got a call from this # as well I tried 2 call back 4 to 5 times n nothing no one answered. I even went as far as text messaging them but no answer. I really thing that this is a doing of a con artist so callers be careful answer at your own RISE! Its not CIBC for sure! Thank you for reading this: your FRIEND.....!

I got a phone call from this number, and nobody say anything, then call back, nothing no voice no nothing, after that I call back and it keep ringing but nobody answer the call

Received a phone call @ approximately 1:00pm PST March 27th. Did not pick it up and no message was left. I googled the number not too long later and discovered who it was from this site. Thanks everyone for their postings and I am glad now I did not pick it up.
