Can the telephone company stop this person from calling people.

I get calls daily (sometimes three times or more) from 604-630-5010. Since I have call display I don't answer but you'd think they would give up. This has been going on for weeks.

I called Telus at 310-1000 which is the privacy line and asked them to block the call. Telus confirmed that it is a telemarketing company. Telus will contact the marketing company and ask that your number be taken off the list and the company has 30 days to comply.  For anyone that is bothered by the number of calls from 604-630-5010, I highly recommend making the call to Telus.

We get about 3 or 4 a day from this number, we ignore but it's annoying if it wakes up my baby! How can you block numbers?

they call every day, at least twice a day for the last month. I have messages where I can hear someone breathing and lots of chatter in the background.

Very anoying calls. Never leaves a message. They call me 2 or 3 times a day. This number should be reported to the phone corporation and the police.

Ridiculous number of calls from this number - about once a day for the last two weeks. ID's themselves as Vancouver Fire Fighters Charitable Fund. Won't return calls and just get voicemail when calling  back. Very suspicious.

i do hope a law inforcer will read all this coments regarding this telephone # 604-630-5010, it semse that this idiot will not stop on calling us without saying anything.

this idiot calls my plcae almost everyday day before yesterday he asks me if mrs.... at home (my wifes last name)then hung up.i think he just tals to ladies to get MC//VISA OR CHECK....why cant the phone co.or cops can get him

Everyday these clowns call me. I can usually expect the call to come around mid-afternoon 1-3pm.

They've called me up to 5 times a day! I have caller ID as well, so don't answer it, but these "people" or whoever they are need to be shut down.

The telephone company that owns the # is looking into this.

They called me ever since the start of December, can we block their calls or do something? they just won't stop! When I checked the white pages, it was identified as "allstream", what does it mean??

Very suspicious of this, calls around twice a day everyday.  Need further help seeking the source to shut em down.

My State Attorney General's Office called me today to say they received my written complaint form, and told me all of the calls come from here. Same here, only three times got someone on the line.  Once someone looking for money for the Firefighters and two different ladies looking for two different people.  Not to mention the 13-15 calls of dead air. Very annoying.

Same as above and they even called Christmas Eve - aarrgghh!

Several calls per day with dead air when we answer and no answer when we try to the number back. Thank you Spazz and Steve B. Have successfully blocked this number.

I am not using shaw as my landline, is it still possible for me to use #01# to block the calls?? I am using telus at the moment..

I get calls from this same number every day, two and three times a day.It started out with me answering and them breathing on the other end then hanging up. Then someone answered one day and said they were from the fire fighters burn fund and asked for my wife because she had donated to them in the past. When I complained about the hang-up calls,I was told it's a number shared with other telemarketers. The phone calls and hang-ups continuied then again someone answered and asked for my wife by name so I asked who is this and they hungup. The calls continue to come two and three times a day.When they call now I pick up and press # and it screems in thier ear.Thankyou Steve B I will try to block this number useing the *60  #01#.

I managed to answer my own question:

The *60 does work, just differently from above (for me, at least).
When I dial it I get a voice menu system, and since I did it right after one of these calls I could just press #01# and it was added automatically.

I hope it works.

These cretins have been bugging me too - two calls every day from 630-5010.  However, the *60# thing doesn't work for me even though I have Shaw phone.  Is there a complaints office somewhere here in BC that I can forward this to?

I always get messages from an number and nobody ever says anything so I hang up. Then when I try and phone it back nobody ever picks up or it's busy...
