Guy tried to sell me San Jose Merc Newspaper. I said I was not interested but he kept reading his script, I asked him if he was retarded, and he kept reading the script. I then Acted Excited that I could get the paper for free for 2 weeks and i got hung up on.

A suggestion. If you have the time, f*** with them. its much better feeling to waste their time. keep asking questions keep them on the phone as long as possible just to at the end say "How does it feel to have your time wasted?" and hang up mid sentence when they try to answer.

Got a call today from that number they said they wanted donations for missing children, when I said we could not at this time she said where do you give your money for charity to , I said none of your business and hung up! Scam! Comes up on caller id as British Columbia

getting daily caller ID the last few days. irritating. will probably just block the number and be done with them.

I got a call 2-3 three times a day.  How do I stop them?  It has been for a month already.

I I receive many phone call from 269 768 2437 from Michigan,and I leave in Canada. I receive to many marketing phone call and they fill my answering. It's a big problem for me.

I get a phone call from this number every day one or two times a day.

Im on the "National Do Not Call List" in Canada, which you can sign up for on the government of Canada website somewhere I think and I still get calls from them. I signed up for the DNC list on their website and if I continue receiving calls from them I too will take legal action.

This caller ticks me off as well. I have told them four times to stop calling. When I mentioned that I am on the do not call list the caller said,"Well that doesn't apply to us, but I will take your number out of our system." and hung up. And they continue to call.

I would recommend anyone to contact FTC, because the BBB is nothing more than a place to vent. They don't investigate any complaints and as they are not government backed or regulated can do nothing about the complaints. Again, they are just there to vent.

I receive calls from this number four to five times a day. In most cases, no one responds. They just sit on the line. On rare occassions some one asks for "Jose." I've just tried the link posted by Shawn (thanks!) to try to stop these annoying calls. Hopefully it works!

Received call from this number soliciting LA Times service. I was very polite and said no. The telemarketer paid no attention to me saying no and continued to "phase two" of her pitch. I was super polite and when she finished I asked to speak with a manager. After back and forth of "my manager's in a meeting" I was ultimately hung up on.

Yeah these guys are very annoying. Sometimes the calls are 3 or 4 times a day!!!

Just got my first call from them on my cell - how did they get my number?  I've gone to the website and requested I be removed --- if  get further calls I'll take legal action.

received a call from number today.  They are a marketing group contracted from the San Jose Mercury News & Dallas Daily News.  Their number is 1-800-526-0937.  They are located in British Columbia and the Marketing group is called RSVP Communication.  The call me everyday 2-3 times a day.  i will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint.

I recieved a call from this no today..a female voice asking " Hi, are you bored?" and when she heard a female voice from this side she hung up..seems to be some adult things try to sell"phone sex" something of that sort..shoot them!

It's a telemarketer trying to sell the calgary herald newspaper.

I left them so many message to take my number out of there list , but they still call me .when I answer they don't talk when I called them go through voice mail any time of the day.

They call me several times a week in the morning and evening!  I never answer.  I always send them straight to voice mail and they NEVER leave a message.  I just put my phone number on the do not call list.  We'll see if it works.

I get at least 2 calls a day from this # and they hang up everytime. I called them back and left the message for them to stop calling but still it goes on and on and on. (you get the message). If anybody finds a way to stop them,  E-mail me. chriscollins64@sbcglobal.net

I got 1 or 2 calls per day last year. it stopped for 2 months, it is calling again this month. they call me 3 times today and leave no messages. This service is from SJ mercury news, can we do anything with them?

started calling after first of the year and have called sveral times, very annoying.
