Just out of pagan curiosity, how come every testimony in support of these jokers, when read aloud, actually sounds like a foreigner TRYING to sound like an American? Hmmmm...just sayin'.

This is an absolute classic scam! SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT!!!
Also the posts you see here that are saying this company (it's not a real company) are great and fixed the users computer, are a scam as well. The scammers have people look up these posts and the scammers post positive statements to trick you. report these knuckle-heads, I did

These guys are just pure scammers! First they have no way to know you are infected and for them to gain that information they would have to know information from your ISP (not likely your ISP will give a stranger your private information), they'd have to know the Mac address of your computer, and know that you own the computer they say is infected (could have bought or sold it at a yard sale). If you get a call from this company or from the so called employee Albert Williams #A108, just hang up or aggravate him for trying to scam you.

So what even if they are calling from India?? How can these windows guys reach every doorstep and provide service??? Think yourself lucky enough that they are calling you. I am one of them.

They may well have a service they are trying to sell. I can get Best Buy or Future Shop to install antivirus software, clean up and optimize my system for around $120.
The reason they are a scam is:
- They identified themselves as Microsoft. I clarified "you're with Microsoft?" and they confirmed "Yes, I am with Microsoft Windows Support. They are clearly not a Microsoft owned company.
- They claimed my computer was sending them error messages. We have many computers all are working fine and protected with Antivirus software.
- When they called, they asked for me by my initial and last name. This is what my phone service is listed as and perhaps my one of my email addresses. Microsoft has my full name and address and would not have that phone number.
- They claimed my computer was infected with the Polymorphic virus. It is not.
- The fellow who called had a clear Indian accent. He provided his name as Albert William. It is common in internet scamming to have names like this that use two english first names.
- His Microsoft employee number was given as A108... must have been one of the founding members.
- Despite the fact that they may provide a legitimate service. Their marketing methodology makes them a scam. I suspect that since their domain is registered in India, that their employees reside there as well. They are not a Canadian company and therefore are not subject to Canadian trade regulations.
- They do not declare that they are trying to sell you something until they have told you all of these lies.
If your computer is acting up, bring it to best buy, future shop or your local computer repair facility. When these guys call just hang up. If you want to be scammed, just call Albert William Employee # A108 at 604 757 9651 and he will take care of it personally.

Today, I got a call from this number. Man with accent told me he was from Windows XP and my Notebook with Windows XP would crash in 3 hours. He said I should go right to the computer and he would tell me how to fix the virus. I told him I wasn't home. He asked when I could be home with the computer and he would call. I said a half hour. In the meantime I got home and googled the phone number and saw what is above. He did not call back. Surely, a scam. Watch out!!

Microsoft error messages , wants access to computer. Indian accent.
Mbfazmorg 2011-10-25 01:46:16 Unknown
They called us and did the fix your computer deal...which by the way- again as it is posted in the "real" microsoft website...that Microsoft do not make outgoing calls to fix computers. All of Microsoft's tech support is online and we can actually download antivirus for free. They may be able to fix your computer problems, but why go thru all the crap of showing us the supposed viruses? Then to tell you to go their website and charge $399.00? We have a black tie support from the Geek Squad, if they can't fix it - well then...we can just get another computer.

Well as Front Desk clerk at Hampton Inn & Suites which is a Hilton Property which Hilton provides our support to have someone calling stating they are calling from Microsoft Windows that is fraudulant alone in itself as Microsoft does not have a department that makes outgoing calls to people to tell them they have a virus on their computer. Plus without being logged in to your computer unless illeagally connecting to your computer how could they tell you there is a virus? Further more I have also worked for Geek Squad and have been a supervisor in their call center this is definately not a legitimate business the way they falsify information to get you to sign up for their services, yes they can fix your PC and make it run faster but why support a business that falsifies information to make you sign up. Or support a company that is not even located in the U.S. As alot of techs know it is very easy to speed up computer you can download CCleaner free of charge or malwarebytes free trial do it yourself and save your money. Hencefourth alot of companies are now offering to remote into your system and fix issues you probably do not even have.

Give these criminals NOTHING!
I am a professional IT administrator and have been in all levels of corporate IT from desktop support to server administration. They are phishing folks, plain and simple, If you fall for their hype/lies you will find your credit card compromised and your computer bugged.
They tried me a month ago and I led the guy through nearly 30 minutes of stalling and loops before I got bored. <grin> They just called again.. Today I could only stand about 15 minutes before I gave up on 'Sean White' with the Indian accent. I hope the 45 minutes I tormented the guys drives them to depression or frustration.

We can tell that the individuals on here who CAN'T SPELL must be working with the same SCAM of a company, because they can't even speak good English let alone explain to you HOW the hell they got your phone number attached to the so called 'Error Messages' they are receiving.
PS: Becoz, Gud, Dat, Guyz, etc. ARE NOT WORDS IN THE ENGLISH DICTIONARY. But thanks anyway for showing your ignorance on the subject.
Alaska 2011-10-19 22:13:04 Unknown
This is a total SCAM - give these people your credit card info at your own risk! You've been warned!
Whatevas 2011-10-19 06:10:02 Unknown
Why is it that every poster who supports this company has the poorest English skills? Even French Canadians speak better English. This is obviously an overseas scam. Ignore them or report them, but definitely don't pick up the phone. Polymorphic virus... LOL
NA 2011-10-18 22:28:12 Unknown
We also got a call from "Windows Tech Support" from this number reporting a "very serious virus" which I had apparently downloaded. I asked if I could hang up and call him back and he gave some long and complicated reason as to why that was not possible. I hung up anyway and hit redial on the call display of that number and it went to an operator message. Sounds like a scam to me.
helen 2011-10-17 04:11:49 Unknown

Wow, there's a lot of phony-baloney shills on this thread. Too bad their English sucks too bad to fool anyone. Nice try, Indian scammers.

The most interesting part is when they show us the viruses, they give the service by removing the viruses and install latest softwares. Actually these win supports guys are giving a very good service at reasonable price.I got the service for five years only at $399. Now my lappy is working awesome.
liza 2011-10-04 18:35:31 Unknown

johnny 2011-10-04 18:25:47 Unknown
