When they phoned I said hello a couple times they asked to speak to the house owner and I said he wasn't home right now but she then asked about my furnace and if it used natural gas, I could hear multiple people talking in the back ground and so I told her no we have a heat pump outside and she said thank you and hung up.. One of the weirdest phone calls I've ever had..

I don't think this is a telemarketer. Way too weird. People report an experience similar to mine. They say 'hello' several times but there is no response. This is a local Vancouver area caller and the number doesn't appear on other "who calls" international websites. I think this might be a local crook checking to see if anybody is home. Please BLOCK THIS NUMBER and be careful!

Same experience as everyone else. Phoned about 4:30 pm. I said 'hello' several times but there was no response. Call seems to originate from North Van somewhere and the number doesn't appear on other US/Can scam callers lists. Therefore, this one feels very, very spooky. Is it a crook checking to see if anybody is home?????

This call seems to have a delay said hello a few times before it connected and someone spoke. They asked for my dad. When I said he wasn't here she hung up before I had a chance to ask who she was.
