next time they call answer and blow a whistle in the microphone of your phone....maybe then they will get the hint!!

I wish these annoying telephone calls stopped

got a call tonight from 604-998-8841 - thought they said they were from ESEO???Asked the usual questions as per above recycling, smoker ect ... her name was Michelle, when we got to the end end she asked for my name. When I refused to provide a name she said I had to supply one. I explained it was a survey and no name was required. She actually argued with me when I told it was MRS. and refused to give her one. After telling her she could use MRS or nothing and terminated the call, she called me back ??? Since the time was now 9:04 EST I picked up the phone saying "Michelle, the time is now 9:04 EST and you are in violation of Ontario calling laws put your manager on the line." She pretended she could not hear me and terminated the call - lol - will definitely get more info if they call again --- by the sounds of it from previous post I will most likely hear from them again

Had these people call both my home and cell number today - wanting to ask questions about recycling and such.  I gave them no information.  They said they were a legitimate survey company.  They aren't.

This company has been calling me for the past 2 weeks. Most of the time when I have answered the call the line gets disconnected. Today the called (a woman) asked me if I was the 'man of the house' and then proceeded to start her script. When I interrupted to ask for the company name to be clearly named she hung up.

I am on the Canadian no-call list but that doesn't seem to matter to these people. I have filed a complaint online with the CRTC.

Never did even find out what they were calling about.

I also get calls from this number many times a day. It is annoying I don't answer the phone, I thought they would get the message and stop calling because nobody picks up the phone.

Asking all those questions is kind of werid and uncommon to ask.

This number just called with a lady with an accent (unsure which). She stated it was a company (sounded like SDP or FDP??) doing independent environmental research on this area.

7. What job field in?    (Oh just like my father!)

My mind was wandering here, but the last I remember was her asking for my first name. Gave a false first name, but I don't see how that matters.

This seriously sounds like someone trying to sound "friendly and trustworthy" with her comments in order to arrange a break in. Thinking I will notify local authorities.

The lady who keeps calling from the 1 604 998 8841 has now blocked her number and is now displaying UKNOWN Caller. She keeps wanting me to do a survey for SVP .  I got her to hang up this time, by persistently asking her what SVP was, she had no answer for me, so she hung up.  I hope that's the last of her calls.

They call every day when I am at work. When I try to return the call all I get is the fast busy signal. How do i get rid of them?

Mine always asks the smoking question too... I get calls from this number almost daily even after requesting to be taken off of the call list.

bandit,  the No Call List is just a list.  There is nothing mechanical or automatic about it.  It doesn't block calls for anyone.   It is just a LIST that keeps the honest people honest.  Scammers and the unlawful will call you anyway.

I just got a call to and told her I did not want to answer her questions as it did sound like she just getting info to break in to my house.... She was super pushy and i finally just hang up... Called twice today.. Hope it stops...

She asked if I had a dog, and where I worked. I told her I worked from home and she wanted to know if this was only part time.  She also asked if I shared the house with anyone... Sounds to me like someone wants to break into my home.

I'm on a do not call list and just got a call from this number. I googled it and found that others have complained about this caller too.

Call from this number every damned day.  Today the guy went so far as to say to me that the 604 number is not an actual number and that his call can't be traced!  And the phone company does what, exactly, to stop this crap?

Repeated calls in the same day....... very annoying, despite no interest....... phone is ringing as I write, and it is the number again. It is Sat. 10 a.m. in Ontario and this is already the 3rd time today !!!!! HELP !!

Repeated calls in the same day from this number, despite my having told them in the first call that I wasn't interested. On a subsequent call I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me.

Several calls from this number over the past week. Is this another telemarketer call?

Continually getting annoying calls from this number at 930pm (Sask time) every night.  Do not answer as the number is not familiar.  Have tried calling back numerous times and get the response "your call did not go through and to try again".  Getting extremely frustrated and unsure how to make these annoyance calls stop for good.  The company/persons name does not register only the phone number, so I am unable to even call a company to lodge a complaint.

I just got that call , yet again today !!! Yesterday they called me like  6 times !!!   I told the lady to take my number off her list.  She claims that if I answer  all her questions I wouldn't get a call back.      asked if we were smokers and stuff like that then at the end said I could win a draw....   Have a feeling I will be getting more calls from them :(  
Sounded like the company name was SGB SURVEY  or something like that.
