EXACT same add still being posted on Craigslist in March of 2014.  Amazing that she will STILL be turning 27 by the 26th of next month TWO YEARS LATER!  Time really stands still for this gal.

I also responded to a Craigslist ad on 3/14/14 from a Sarah Paige and although I thought it could be legit, it sounded too much like the Nigerian scams I have seen over the years.  She said she lives in South Dakota but had to visit her sick uncle in France and wanted to secure my apartment before leaving the country.  She would supposedly send me a US certified money order and wanted to move here to Colorado Springs by March 31, 2014.  She would be moving here with no job but of course had an uncle back in France who would be supporting her.  BEWARE if you see a similar posting on Craigslist because apparently this is a SCAM.

I got an email from Sarah Paige a young nurse from Paris presently living in SD. Her uncle is sick in France so she could not meet with me or call me but she wants to move in by the 31st and would like to secure the room. Once again, she would be sending me a check.  OMgosh......I think I gave her too much personal information. Other than the check scam, which didn't get that far with me, is there anything else I should be concerned about?

She used the name Rachel Paige with me.  A nurse from France.  Uncle in Paris. SAME thing......is it only a money scam or should I be worried about my physical safety in my home?

She was going to give me a cashiers check.  Has she moved in with anyone?

She said she is a nurse with a sick uncle in Paris.

I answered an ad on Craigslist for a Sarahpaige looking for  a room to rent.  I actually gave her too much info about me and now am worried.  She portrays herself is a young nurse from France looking for a room.  With her second response to me, her grammar was not the same as the first message.  She was very pushy wanting a lease and all.  There would have been no way to meet her ahead of time.  What does anyone else know about her?  Thank goodness for me, my 40 year old son is moving in this weekend along with two teenage boys so I no longer have space for anyone but am worried about this SCAM.

I am getting  an email from Rosa KIng same email address. Sounds like the same story. Does anyone know what she wants? It doesn't seem to me that she is getting much from anyone. Just seems weird.

I too just recently got email from samantha Warraen smnthwarren2@gmail.com for a post of craigslist for home sublet. She posed to be from Switzerland and coming to US for some work. She said her company will be paying for all the expenses and she said she has sent me a check for 1st month rent and additional few hundred for me for spending time to write emails n all. It all looked so genuine until I saw posts here, I am glad that I goggled her sooner than later.

Same thing!! "Samantha Warren" would email me back occasionally telling be about a check she she was mailing to me and would not answer any of my questions! Finally realized it was a scam- I kept telling her I was unable to rent the room out to her since we found other subletters but she ignored that and told me she was flying in from Switzerland and her boss was taking care of everything. Then told me that I could just keep $200 from the check she was going to send me, and wire the rest over to her "agent" via moneygram. Ridiculous.

This kind of thing is so very sad. In Arizona and right now in the middle of corresponding with this Rosa King person. Initial contact was made through Craigs List - One must always be very careful there - but there are good honest people there too. It appears this Rosaking88@yahoo is NOT one of them. Very Very Disappointing on So Many Levels! But thankfully, sites like this, and honest people are around. We all need one another - Thank You Good People

i recieved several messages from people after i posted an add on craigslist looking for a roommate. samantha warren was one of them. she sent text messages and said she was from ontario canada and her step dad was here in the states and he would be paying for everything. she wanted to have my address and such so she could have her step dad send a check for the rent. i was dumb enough to give her my info and a few days later i recieved a fake check for $4,300. thankfully i was smart enough to do my homework before i cashed the check. its a shame people have to be like that. i also recieved alot of emails from people and they wanted my info before ever talking to me. i never knew there was that many scams on craigslist. is anyone honest on there?
