Had dealt with them before. They are legally allowed under South Dakota law to behave in the manner in which they call you. If you are current with your accounts, they are looking for information to locate a family member.

This is AAA Collections. Usually pertaining to Medical Bills.

Calls being made to my high school daughter.  She has no debt owed to anyone.  Irresponsible tactics and likely illegal according to Faitr Debt Collection Practice Act.

I get calls from this number everyday same time. I talk to a guy once and he was a total do***e bag! No professionalism at all... get a clue send me a statement o. What i "owe" and stop calling me!!!)

how can this be AAA dept collecters?  I don't owe anyone any money.   Also  they wont talk to me.   Even though I am the person they are asking for.  It doesnt make any sence.   I married and changed my name. Updating it in your system when you speak to me should be easy..  also being put on your do not call list  shouldn't be so hard either. Exspecially sence they wont even talk to the person they ask for.   rediculious.

They refuse to identify themselves

this company is ruthless I never received a bill or a call from them then all of a sudden I get served with papers for small claims and they wouldn't work with me at all or explain where these charges all of sudden came from.Needless to say I lost the claim then when I  called to set up a payment plan they refused again. Then one day when to pay bills and all our money was gone out of our account they had taken it out and the courts were not interested in all the attempt I had made to them just that I hadn't paid anything so I had to pay them in turn missing a house payment losing our vehicles. But it gets better about a month after I received the zero balance letter I was served with papers again this time saying I no owe $10,000. Again the courts have no desire to listen to my zero balance paper or the fact that insurance should have been filed I lost and now I am getting up to 4 calls a day and anytime I try and call them I get put on hold an no one ever picks up. We are just waiting for the account to be emptied yet again. So we leave the account as close to 0 only putting money in the day we pay bills.

If that is the case then AAA does not follow the law. I have had this number call me many many times all hours of the day and evening sometimes up to 4 times a day. Any attempt I have made to call this number back just puts me on an extended hold.

This number called my cell phone asking for someone else and wouldn't tell me what it was about then tried to get me to give them information on that other person. Very dodgy! Others say it was AAA collections and based on who they were looking for that is probably who it is.

they only need to be told ONCE that its a wrong number. every call after that is a violation of fdcpa laws and can be sued for.

Not true. I'm a  debt collector and it is actually REQUIRED by FDCPA (federal debt collection practices act) that once somebody asked what company you represent you HAVE TO DISCLOSE name of company.

They called here for my daughter, and I like how they said it was a "personal" when asked what it was about. Why can't they just say they are trying to reach her on a collection bill, which Sanford Labs is famous for. Really, went to collections after 45 days AND a payment check was accepted and cashed by them?

I had a missed call from this number, I tried calling back and they wouldn't say who they were unless I verified date of birth which I told them I would not do without knowing who they were. Since we were at an impass I hung up.

send in a complaint with the FCC. These callers are getting around the Federal Collection laws and Do not Call, but the FCC has been clamping down on them. Especially in the case of medical pt.s

Heres one of you all. i get called from them 5 times a day for the past 6yrs. Not for a bill i owe, oh no its a bill my ex father n law owes. Yup!! and i told them. They call me because i still have that last name and they assumed it was my husband. EEEWWWW!!! And what right do they have thinking because our last name is the same that i would pay the dam bill

Very good message to those people out there that think everyone has the money to pay for when there sick or hurt. You know why these jack offs work for the hospital? Because they know there are people that HAVE to go sometimes and cant pay. For you losers that are above feeling pitty for those who get behind because of a stay in a hospital, get over it, your not above anybody, just pitiful yourself.

This is not true, AAA Collection does make phone calls.    They have been calling me after 7pm CT, on Saturday & Sundays.   When I pick up and just listen (do not say hello), there's music in the background.    I have reported them previously, however, I guess being on the DO NOT CALL list doesn't make a difference.   The thing is I DON"T owe these people any money - I like another person on this list - all payments are being made to my hospitals.     Can someone PLEASE help all of us?   I have a granddaughter in Sioux Falls and I never know if she's trying to call me or if it's these annoying people.

you can go to the Attorney General's website for South Dakota and file a complaint with the Consumer Protection office with them.  They will contact the company and help you!

Just an FYI! this is most likely a scam, AAA collections never contacts by phone on debts to my knowledge.  I have had a couple bills that I forgot about that went to collections and unless I or my husband has called them, they only correspond with clients through the mail.  Don't give any information what so ever to the caller!!!!!!  A friend of mine said that they called her trying to collect on a medical bill from Sanford Hospital that was over 4 years old.  These places don't let bills get to be 4 years old and no payments.

they call at different times.  shows up without a caller ID name and are very rude. don't know the person they are calling for and they called me a liar.  don't answer there calls at all anymore.

AAA Collections on us!  someone in billing misspelled our name and sent out two bills to us--we paid one bill and told them their mistake--and they sent it to AAA!!??  someone is seriously lacking brain power!

This number calls me at least 5 times a day. They call early morning, after 6 p.m., weekends, etc. They will not identify themselves. The person they ask for does not live here and I have told them this several times. How can I make them stop? One day they called at 12:00 pm, 12:05 pm, 12:45 pm, 1:44 pm....it is like this at least 4 days out of the week. Would love to know how to make them quit calling.

AAA Collections. They may be calling to collect a debt, but they may be calling to phish for information about other people. They are generally rude and deceptive and often times their info is out dated or just plain wrong.

I trully hate AAA. why... You call them and asked for reciept of showing what was paid, there comment is... well You should of kept track.. Excuse Me, I need reciepts so I can deduct them on my taxes.. all of our bills with AAA is Medical Bills, and We've the right to itemize them all, They collect thru our income at lesast 12.000 a year... and I'm like we don't owe that much, Provide us with the info... Nope won't do it, these are a bunch of scams, My next steps.. is If they don't provide Me the reciepts of showing whats been paid in full,,, It Court Time AAA....... for harrasment and failure to provide reciept for medical bills that been paid.
