230 call am are they nuts scammer dont call again!!!!!

I am being harassed daily by this telephone number. Help!

This is one of many numbers that keeps coming up, calling my cell phone over and over. they never leave a message, just keep calling every 5 minutes. Really annoying.

Thank you for listing those numbers, many of them I had blocked already, but several of them I didn't. They do seem to originate from the same scammer. Here is my entire list so far

Ever since my 87 year old mother had gone through cardiac rehab several weeks ago I?ve been barraged with calls from numerous states purportedly offering a free medical alert system. I receive a minimum of 4 or 5 calls each day from the following numbers:

I have no doubt that this is a medical alert phishing scam
(see http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/personalf ... -alert/2397189/) and originates from a single source. I don?t know how these people obtained my unlisted cell phone number since the hospital?s disclosure of personal or medical information is a violation of HIPAA confidentiality, subjecting the violator to fines and penalties. Most medical care providers avoid this like the plaque.

My advice is to not answer the call and do not respond to these people in any way. Once they know your phone number is legitimate they will continue calling and may pass your number on to other scammers. It?s a PIA but I would also file a complaint with the FCC and Federal Trade Commission. The more complaints they receive the more likely they will launch an investigation.

Any scum who prey on the elderly are the lowest of bottom feeders and need to be eliminated from society.

I have had between 5 and 8 calls per day from this number and never answer. Driving me crazy!

I have received 6-10 calls a day from  many of these numbers. I suspect they are using some sort of network and VOIP phone system so they can make the calls appear to originate form all over. If it does not stop soon I am gong to report it.  Perhaps once enough complaints are made by us the phone companies will take it up with the authorities and the idiots will be tracked down and shut down.

'RH' asked about specific numbers.  I've been deluged with these irritating calls over the past 2 days (actually, they are becoming like nails on a chalkboard).  I actually started recording these numbers (most, but not all, are the same scam).  I't amazing how geographically diverse these call are (not sure how these 'people' - I use the word loosely - utilize these different numbers.

Nothing that I've done has made them stop.  I don't answer these call, confirmed my 'do not call list' status, complain the FAA, etc.  

How many of you have received calls from some/many of these numbers??

If you could post the different phone numbers, it would allow those of us with the capability to block them pro-actively. Thanks.

20 calls  in 48 hours with same message but different phone numbers (12) on my caller ID. I have reported them to police and I am working now with my phone company to trace all these calls. I have a preliminary answer for now but I have to let Police to do its investigation since the calls are coming from 12 different phone numbers, all of them telemarketing.
I have never answered to these calls and I will never answer but they keep calling. Harassment !  This time I will take them to court. This is too much .

Unwanted call

Called me three times today; started with automated "blah blah" press 1 to speak to a rep or someother no. to get removed from the list. i opted for 1 and asked the lady to provide me info on her company. She abruptly disconnected the call. What a scam; what a shame.

did try to answer tyhis call but they stayed silent  and no answer the only things I know is come from South Dakota  but company unknow , not the first time they called  

Am getting calls from this number and if I happen to answer while the phone is still ringing then I get Congratulation blah, blah, blah, but if the call has ended then when I call it back I get press any digit to be placed on our do not call list and just as soon as I do then the call ends and you never know if you are actually placed on a do not call list.  I have decided to keep a record of every such call and report them every single time I get a call.  Maybe then this will stop as on Thursday I received no less than 14 such calls and I am sick and tired of my cell phone being called.

I think the federal shutdown translates to "They can't enforce the national do not call list!" Telemarketer. Don't answer.

Called twice today, so I picked it up so I could report who it is was on here!

It's a recorded message, saying "Congratulations, you have been picked to receive a medic alert system..."

New name and number, but same old tired scam. Even worse, where I live the only companies who can supply these items have to be on a list of companies approved by the state. So even if they did supply something, they could not be paid. This means they are either grossly incompetent, or are just phishing for your medical details?
