Keep calling my phone. It's harassment

Had no issues until today with them.  Chase and Sallie Mae are the worst.

Don't blame illegals, don't blame the lower class for putting down the Middle Class. Use common sense and understand it takes the rich to create the poor....and us middle class folk are falling victim to it.

It was Wells Fargo claiming I was 11 cents past due on my account!!! At 8 in the morning!!!

Called at 8am on the dot, no message. If it's Wells Fargo, my bill isn't due for another 3 weeks!

This number calls a couple times a day starting in the morning, and it's never a live person nor do they leave a message. It's ridiculous.

I co signed for a friend (roomate) to get a loan to go back to school, instead he spent the money to remodel the house his mom left him. then he stopped paying and all they do is call me every day, but they only send me the bill after its past due.. I pulled all my accounts from wells fargo, and the manager did not even ask why? I explained that i was in the hospital and when i get released ill check into it,`

keeps calling me and will not leave a message, or respond when I pick up!

Please stop these calls!!!

Wells Fargo called me to actually talk about a student loan consolidation I applied for years ago. I was left voicemails and received a letter in the mail PRIOR to the phone calls. Unsure why no one else seems to be left messages (written or otherwise) but I was. Funny thing is I paid off these loans. So this wasn't a debt collection call (like I first thought). It was an opportunity to save money call...

Also, please keep in mind anyone quoting the "Fair Debt Collections Practices Act" should quote the whole thing and then how it applies to their state. Every state is different. Misleading annoyed people only exacerbates a potential non-issue. Either way you may have a case... or you may not and you could CALL Wells Fargo and see what the heck they want. I actually received money that was owed to me. Glad I called.

Its Wells-Fargo and they are the absolute worst people to have to deal with. I didn't even take a loan with them. They took over my student loans when the company i used went belly-up. They have been a complete pain in the rear from day one. And how they apply your funds is ridiculous. I have 3 loans with them and they have a tendency to take my payments and apply them to the loans that are already current and let the loans that are outstanding remain overdue. How much sense does that make? Even when your payments are current they still call and harass you. Endlessly.  I've gotten called up to 5 times in the span of a few hours and they ALWAYS call while i'm at work. Keep it up and i won't have a paycheck to pay you from.

Called my cell phone several times, and work number once.  I did answer one of the cell phone calls and it was an automated Wells Fargo message, asking me to stay on the line to talk to someone about alleviating my debt.  I don't need help, I pay on time.

Don't know who they are and what they want from me.

I have been receiving repetitive calls daily, within hours of each other,  from this number and name.  When I answer the phone there is no answer and shortly I receive a dial tone.  Based on comments by others,  I assume it was originated because I co-signed a student loan application with my granddaughter.  To my knowledge, she keeps up her payments, and I do know she is still employed, so I cannot see why I need be subjected to this harrassment.

Did you do this, if so what was the result?

This number has been calling nonstop every single day for days. They wake me up at 8 am every single morning, never leave a message, and when I answer the phone they hang up. I looked the number up online and saw that its a wells fargo number. I do have a small student loan with them (which is almost paid off), but have never been late with my payments so I don't understand the harassing calls.

Calling at any hour asked for them to stop but they do not!

If you are going to call number numerous times throughout the day, please talk or leave a message. This has been going on for months and noone answers when  you pick up the call.

I don't have any loans with this company and they keep calling me.... is there any way to block this call?

I received 5 calls from this number before coming here to find out who it was.  I received 4 calls on a Saturday and tried to answer the one time I was near my phone to see it ringing, but there was no response on the other line.  No messages were ever left on the other 3 calls.  Then I got another call this morning (Monday) and did some digging, seeing that it was WF.  

I paid my student loan the day before it was due, with a transfer from my WF checking to my WF loan.  The payment was deducted the same day, so I thought nothing of it.  But clearly the loan department isn't posting the payment.  So I called a number from the WF site, rather than just calling this number back.  I called 1-800-378-5526.  The first woman said my balance showed overdue and when I said I had paid it, she transferred me to the department that makes the calls from the 605 number.  I told the second woman that I had paid the balance and it was deducted from my account.  She said it would probably show up today and noted that in my account.  Both women were very friendly and helpful.  I can't say for sure if I will get more calls today, but based on actually speaking with someone at WF, I feel like the matter was easily resolved.

I would recommend that anyone getting frustrated should just call in to WF and see if someone can sort their situation out.  I have never made a late payment on any account, ever, so it was important to me that this be resolved, rather than just continue to ignore the phone calls.

Same thing happened to me!!  I told them MULTIPLE times that I wanted to see a bill or I would not pay them because I needed confirmation the person on the other end of the phone wasn't a scammer!
It took them three months to send it, all the while they hit me with late fees.
Then the woman had the nerve to tell me to go "Ask other people to help you"...!!!
Is that even LEGAL?!

How do you get them to stop? They start at 8 AM! When I just rolling out of bed to get my boys & continue through the whole day. We're about to have our 4th baby in May & I don't have time for this crap!

Receiving calls from this number throughout the day. When we answer with our business name, it hangs up. No one ever speaks to us. You would think that they would take the number off their call list knowing that it is a business. What a waste of everyone's time!
