I just got the same call...but I can not call back!!!

NOTICE FROM VALLEY:

This # is NOT a working # and the real # placing the call is spoofing the Caller ID telephone # and name information.

Please do NOT ever call back telephone numbers you do not recognize on your Caller ID information.

In this case, Valley is a small telephone company and literally thousands & thousands of people are trying to return a call to that number and overloading our circuits.

Got this call yesterday on my cell 5:05 pm 3/13/08. Couldn't call back. Use a pre-paid cell from net 10 with carrier right now at and t.

call came through 7:37 pm CST. Got a "number you have reached is invalid, please check the number and dial again"

called my cell this eveing. missed it called it back no answer

called me at around 8:05 pm Friday, 3/14/08. missed the call. called the number back around 15 minutes later, something beeped, and automatically hung up

Just received the call on my cell, glad to see others are as smart and don't answer but investigate.

I get calls all the time and dont answer but no one ever leaves a message. I called it and got a recording of elevator music and then I got disconnected. I assume its debt collection

Same here....on March 15, 2008 I received this number on my cell. 011-605-955-9889. Very odd????

i also got a call from one other number +97648384 and 1-976-483-84 same numders just put in differently just wondering if anyone knows about that number...

got this call about a month ago i didnt answer is coz i dont know the munber..  didnt think anything about it till i typed it in to google  and came across this site  so strange what is it all about

These people really now how to ruin a person's day. living near the NIU happenings in Northern Illinois is hard enough but these tellemarketers just won't stop with the friggin' calling!!!!!! i just got my Nextel back in late December '07 and have already got 3 calls!!! the 1st one i cant remember but last two some computer named Rudy answered "Hello my name is Rudy..." after i hear that name i hang up.
 i may be young but i think its high time that we, as cell phone company subscribers that pay lots o' $$$ for this s#!* not to happen, do something about it. Sure, our cell comp. may say don't call back or even answer, but what are you supposed to do if the tellemarketers bombard you with day-to-day calls at the most important times of day? just sit there on our a**es and do nothing?!?!?!?!? i think not! just do me a favour; don't call back, don't answer, just wait for a voicemail or msg or w/ever these people leave you. document all calls, call times, dates, etc. i know Theresa and jojo with a notice from Valley from above says they're a small telephone company, but with what purpose??? call and annoy the crap outta all of us normal folk? so far, ive recieved calls from these #'s:

this bulls#!t is really old and immature. its time to file suit on claims of harrassment and violations of the "no calls act" and violations of the right for us normal citizens to know the company name(s), manager info, REAL F***ING # OF THIS PLACE!!! if we get charged with calls to some random South east Asian village, ohhhhh BOYYYYY THEY BETTER HAVE THERE F'IN STORIES STRAIGHT AND SOME $$$$ TO GIVE TO EVERY1 WHO HAS RECIEVED THEYRE CALL!!!! # >:(

I got this call on March 13 (using T-mobile) and didn't answer.  It came over as "+6059559889".  The "+" sign denotes a international call.  This call did NOT come from Mound City, South Dakota, USA.  No message was left.  My cycle just ended a couple days ago and I checked my balance with Tzones.  Holy geez, its like 15$ higher.  I poke around more and found a link to see "unbilled charges exceeding your rate plan".  And there it was: "$14.90 LD/Toll".  Okay. Called 611 but my bill isn't done yet so they can't pull up this call (I specifically mentioned this number) and I can't see my bill online yet.  I was told the bill should be ready tomorrow.  Funny my balance is available for the new bill but the bill itself isn't!  I'll post again when I find out exactly what this LD/Toll call charge is.

Unknown phone call... from messages here it's telemarketers calling my cell phone

I found that this number had called my cell.  No idea what it was, so I GOOGLEd it and here I am...probably a scam!

SAME THING  HERE BUT THERE IS ANOTHER SO DON'T BE SURPRISED, I GOT  PRANKED BY THIS ONE AND A 866-484-7005 NUMBER, BUT THE LATTER THEY DID SPEAK AND IT WAS A WOMAN, BUT THIS ONE FROM SOUTH DAKOTA I HAVE NO IDEA

just got  a missed call from this number.

Presently, I'm under federal investagation and my calls are tapped. The investagating officer ask me who do I know in Korea; this number is a calling card from a Vontage service offered in South Korea and other parts of Asia. If you try to return the call it will not go through because it's an international number, but it will go through the national outlet, however, it will redirect your call to a telemarketing firm called "Mobile Research" out of South Dakota, with a location address of 2917 Franklin Street, South Dakota. All of this is according to the Federal investgator's office out of Boston, MA.

Received a call from this number on my AT&T phone just a few minutes ago. I had no idea what was being said and I hung up fairly quickly. The + sign before the number indicates to me that this is definitely an international call.

I got this call too.  When i called back the operator said its an invalid call.  i'm in california and this number is in South Dakota.

I got this call on my Verizon Cell at 8:26pm today and it was a missed call.  Tried to call it back from my landline but disconnected number.  Scam!

got a call from this number about an hour ago.  didn't answer it, never do when its a number I don't recognize.  No message left

I got a call from this number. I heard an automated message in spanish telling me to press '2', I did and got connected to a woman who answered in spanish. I told her I had recived a call from this # (in english) and she hung up on me. Very strange

I just got a call from them too. My phone number is also out of northeastern IL (815).
